Excellent hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

Lovely! Probably the best area to stay in Singapore…easy walk to MRT which gets you everywhere. Stacks of bars and eateries (especially the little ‘Satay Club’ just outside the gates on your left as you leave the hotel) within walking distance. Lovely pool

An historic building and I’m reliably informed it is the second oldest hotel in Singapore. An excellent warm welcome on arrival and speedy check in. A very relaxing foyer whilst waiting for a taxi to arrive. Two great swimming pools. Breakfast is excellent with an excellent choice. Coffee is superb. All staff are brilliant!

There wasn’t anything I disliked.

Pros:

We have had many wonderful stays at Goodwood Park Hotel, and our most recent stay was also most enjoyable. We appreciate the building with its many comfortable resting places, the swimming pools, the excellent rooms, breakfast, and the very special staff who provide an excellent personalised service. Thank you.

Cons:

Possibly, the cleaning of the rooms was a little bit more erratic and not quite up to the standard of other years, but it was still good.
