Staff have been so amazing! Maraceli and team were great every morning.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Houston Marriott Medical Center, and I felt compelled to share what an exceptional experience it was—due in large part to the outstanding kindness and hospitality of Maraceli in the M Club.
From the moment I walked into the M Club, Maraceli set the tone for the entire stay. Her warm smile, genuine friendliness, and eagerness to help made me feel not just like a guest, but truly welcomed. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything was comfortable, well-prepared, and enjoyable. It is rare to encounter someone who takes such personal pride in making sure others feel cared for, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
Travel can often be tiring and impersonal, but Maraceli brought a level of professionalism and heartfelt service that elevated the entire experience. Her kindness, patience, and positive attitude created an atmosphere that was both relaxing and memorable. She represents the very best of what hospitality should be.

This hotel offers budget hotel service at an upscale price.
The problems began when I arrived. The driveway entrance is small and the hotel lacks the staff to move cars waiting for valet service. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon at a time when it wasn't particularly busy but there were several cars waiting for valet service. Upon arrival I was met by the rudest valet I ever met. I was offered no help with our bags. If you want to self-park your car the valet staff won't give you the time of day.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. There were days when the didn't bother to empty the trash bins.
Checkout was a mess. The driveway entrance was totally blocked with cars as there weren't enough valet staff to move the cars. Getting my car out of self-parking and to the entrance to get our bags was like running a gauntlet.
All this hotel offers is easy access to the Houston Methodist Medical Center.
Convenience to the tram
Booking.com and this hotels system are not compatible. The hotel charged me again for the entire booking after spending almost an hour trying to check in and took me a week to get the extra charges refunded to my card. Be prepared to pay an extra 200 to 400 dollars for all the extra charges when you check in. The place was nice and food was decent. The gift shop seemed to be closed randomly and hot tub was closed of course. Pool is closed permanently which was a big downer! Staff was very friendly and housekeeping did a great job.
My entire family stayed here while my dad was admitted at Houston Methodist for 9 nights. We had access to the M Club which made our life in and out of the hospital SO much easier! The best part was starting each morning at breakfast with Maraceli’s sweet, smiling self… I’ve never encountered someone as full of joy as her. She is absolutely the best and her hospitality made us a little less stressed each day!! Everyone was great from the M club to the front desk to the housekeeping to the shuttle service. Thanks, HOU Marriott Medical Center!!
We were urgently taken to Houston Methodist Hospital with my husband’s illness. We had an almost 2 week stay. Our room at Meriott was so convenient! Five minutes from the hospital room. But the real reason I give accolades is the M-Club experience. There was one special server that made our experience extra special! Maraceli our morning server was my Angel! I hope you realize what you have in this young, sweet, kind lady! I hope and pray that you take care of her and pay her well! For the main reason, SHE TAKES CARE OF YOUR BUSINESS in a way that I’ve never seen! SHE is one reason we want to return!

Maraceli at the M Club was amazing every morning! She has such a warm personality, and was always so sweet to me and my daughter. We look forward to seeing her the next year for our HLSR stay.
We stayed at the Marriott (TX Medical Center area) as we came to Houston for 2 days of the rodeo. I travel frequently so we were able to utilize the M Club. All I can say is wow. The hospitality and service that was extended to us was amazing. Apologies for my spelling but Maricellia was incredible. Not only to us but every person was treated as special. Her leadership in the M Club stands out as an example of what people should strive to be more like. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and I believe she is a great example of going above and beyond. Hopefully Marriott recognizes her amazing work ethic and special way she interacts with people who she comes into contact with. I think Marriott should use her as a trainer/instructor for new or existing employees.
The hotel and staff are wonderful. Maraceli always remembers us and takes exceptional care of our needs.
I visit every 3 months and Maraceli makes it feel like home. She is kind and helpful to all. Everyone seems to know her. You can tell she loves her job and cares for people.
First time staying at this location. Maraceli helped us at the M Club, absolutely amazing service and definitely made our trip memorable.
