Marriott Kansas City Overland Park

The room was very comfy and big, but I wish it had had a bathtub in the bathroom.

Clean room, great location, fantastic bar

Good location with proximity to alot of restaurants/businesses in the Johnson county. Also great to have true starbucks in the hotel and a full service restaurant. Rooms are great size, my only suggestion is wish the mattress a bit firmer, too soft for my taste. And

The people behind the bar are always so nice and very attentive.

Easy access to convention center and highways.

The hotel was nicely renovated, and comfortable for our trip for sports. I would stay here again. The only strange thing was the traffic light at the hotel, never changed for us and would remain red.

Di and Sharron in the M Club are outstanding and so friendly it makes the business trips fill almost like having breakfast at home. My wife Donna also appreciates their caring ways and knows I’m in good hands when I stay here. Judy in the evening is also amazing and takes great care of us as well. Wonderful staff you have here.

I visited this hotel while on a work trip. The room was nice, the gym has excellent equipment and plenty to choose from unlike most hotel gyms. I enjoyed the M Club Lounge but I have visited lounges that provide a better evening meal option other than oven baked hors d'oeuvres. But even the available options was enough to satisfy a light bite. The staff was friendly and the hotel restaurant had good options. Plenty of work space to conduct business if you dont want to be stuck working on your computer in your room. I would definitely come back on a personal trip to this location as well.

All was great with one exception. Even though I upgraded to the high speed wireless, I could not be on teams meetings in my room. It was too floor, far end of the hotel. I would guess the wifi router was too far away. I had to work from the M-club both days. Wifi signal was strong but the speed and ping were not great. Definitely need to update and upgrade the internet.

Check in and out was a breeze. Room was very nice and comfortable. Starbucks a HUGE plus being there and the bar food was really good!

This hotel is always good but this past stay was excellent. Front desk great. Room service and food were both excellent.

the property is well kept and all the staff were a pleasure to deal with. The only thing that was a setback was the Starbucks store in the lobby closed at 3pm

We have stayed at this Marriott for the past 3 years for the same annual event, The College Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Every year it seems like when the event is over the bar gets bombarded with people trying to order drinks. The staff there does an excellent job trying to keep up with the rush but it would be helpful to have extra staff to avoid the wait for a drink.

Also, this year the sheets on one of the king size beds in our room were extremely crisp and uncomfortable. This is very unusual for a Marriott hotel. I could hear them rustling every time my husband moved and he had a very difficult time sleeping. We should have requested them to be changed but since we were only there one additional night we didn’t want to bother and we both just slept in the other bed.
