Bathtub was clogged when taking a shower with water ponding up to the ankles. Informed front desk and when leaving informed the front desk that issue was not completely resolved. Bathtub draining slowly, better than the previous day, but slow.
I stayed at this hotel last weekend. This is not to Marriott standards. Potholes in the parking lot with sign saying they’re not responsible foryour car. The swimming pool pools were filthy dirty the indoor pool was green. The health department should be advised of this. The carpeting and floors were filthy. My shower curtain had mold all over it. I was booked for two days and could not find hotel to stay in. So I had to stay there one night and found another hotel to stay at and they refused to give me my back.
We chose this hotel as it was close to the church we were having my moms funeral. Our family rented numerous rooms, 3 nights each for the funeral and to spend time with the numerous family that travelled from out of town.
EVERY NIGHT the smoke alarms kept going off. There was no staff to deal with this and everytime we fell back asleep AFTER GOING DOWN TO THE FRONT DESK they went off again. The first night it was approx 12 times.
No one was called in the middle of the night to figure it out. So the day of the funeral, which I was in charge of arranging, my husband and I were completely exhausted. We had asked to be moved to a different room as apparently this was only affecting a few floors, but told no. We just checked out this morning and complained again and it’s as if it’s no big deal. We paid just under 1000.00 for 3 nights, NOT INCLUDING FOOD!
Nice big room with comfy bed. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice toiletries in the bathroom.
The hotel needs updating, We arrived on a Sunday evening and it was not very clean. The carpets throughout the hotel needed vacuuming and the hall tables had water stains on them. In the morning, the dining area doors had had prints and smudges all over the glass. The curtains in our room were so worn, they were ripped along the creases.
Staff wonderful. Hotel shabby. Starts with huge potholes at entrance. Two of three elevators not working (apparently since December). Ice machine not working. Doesn't Marriott inspect and correct hotels with their name on it??
Not enough selection for the price
They charged me to different prices for 1 room on my bank statement. When I try to talk to accountant they don’t answer. I am fighting the charges now. Trumbull Marriot tells me they can’t see what I paid because I booked with bookings. I have a copy of my receipt and checkout. Some came in my room while I was to a funeral and took everything I had in there and cleaned the room after 4 pm. I call the head desk to see if anyone came in my room and she said she will find out. She never called me back but a man bought me the fruit bag, cake, and my medicine I had wrapped in tissue because I was gonna take before bed because I decided to take my suitcase to the car so I wouldn’t have to do the next morning because of the rain. Will never use this hotel again. I never seen anything like it.
Staff was very friendly.
Hotel advertised a hot tub. Which was not only not in use. But was told by staff it hasn't been in a long time. Def one of the ammenities we look for when booking a hotel. Also one of the elevators was out.
The staff very nice , The breakfast ,
Let's start with the drive way ,and parking lot falling apart , very bad . walking in i had to duck to get around some branches . the trash can at the entrance way was full at 12 noon .
The room number 102 bath room rust alone floor , rust on bottom side of faucets , bedroom room wall paper seams are opening up , no waste paper baskets in main part of room only one by the sink . over the door inside there's some tape holding some thing to the wall .
Good location
My rating would have been the highest except for the fact that there was no soap in the soap dispenser for taking a shower. Disappointing, I expect more from Marriott.
Everything was fine but thought breakfast was included.
Breakfast not included and expensive.
beautiful ground
pot holes in parking lot
hot tub was closed
hot tub closed
I was out in the area for a work trip and several of my colleagues including myself stayed at this hotel due to location. After googling the hotel to check out the location and pictures, I booked it as well. Unfortunately, when I checked into my room, it looked NOTHING like the images I had seen online. It was run down, peeling wall paper, water leaks everywhere in the bathroom, water damage in the ceiling and a horrific bed. I went down to discuss where the renovated rooms were and showed them the picture. They were very confused and said that’s not here & couldn’t answer why they were linked to the hotel. Not only did I uncover mold in the ceiling but also in several spots in the bathroom, leaking water from the shower, rusted grout along with peeling wall paper with what appeared to be water damage. In addition, the door had gaps all along the door jam and the lock area which had me worried that anyone could easily break it with simple tools shimmied through the gap in the door & lock!
During the entire 2 day stay, I had the window open 24/7, spray Lysol everywhere and had to take multiple doses of allergy medicine. A few other colleagues also had issues and commented on it as they were concerned for my allergies. After this stay, it took me a week to recover from the allergy attacks that I had due to this hotel.
I will be writing corporate in regard to the condition of the property and the fact that it’s listed as a 4 star hotel, which is extremely misleading.
This hotel needs to be renovated, deep cleaned and rid of the obvious mold issues along with the glaring water leaks in the bathroom.
The staff was very nice!!
It was run down. The TV didn’t work. The linens smelled bad and the padding for the pull out sofa bed was all torn up. Overall I thought it needed some improvements. The staff was amazing though!
