The staff very nice , The breakfast ,
Let's start with the drive way ,and parking lot falling apart , very bad . walking in i had to duck to get around some branches . the trash can at the entrance way was full at 12 noon .
The room number 102 bath room rust alone floor , rust on bottom side of faucets , bedroom room wall paper seams are opening up , no waste paper baskets in main part of room only one by the sink . over the door inside there's some tape holding some thing to the wall .
Good location
My rating would have been the highest except for the fact that there was no soap in the soap dispenser for taking a shower. Disappointing, I expect more from Marriott.
Everything was fine but thought breakfast was included.
Breakfast not included and expensive.
beautiful ground
pot holes in parking lot
hot tub was closed
hot tub closed
I was out in the area for a work trip and several of my colleagues including myself stayed at this hotel due to location. After googling the hotel to check out the location and pictures, I booked it as well. Unfortunately, when I checked into my room, it looked NOTHING like the images I had seen online. It was run down, peeling wall paper, water leaks everywhere in the bathroom, water damage in the ceiling and a horrific bed. I went down to discuss where the renovated rooms were and showed them the picture. They were very confused and said that’s not here & couldn’t answer why they were linked to the hotel. Not only did I uncover mold in the ceiling but also in several spots in the bathroom, leaking water from the shower, rusted grout along with peeling wall paper with what appeared to be water damage. In addition, the door had gaps all along the door jam and the lock area which had me worried that anyone could easily break it with simple tools shimmied through the gap in the door & lock!
During the entire 2 day stay, I had the window open 24/7, spray Lysol everywhere and had to take multiple doses of allergy medicine. A few other colleagues also had issues and commented on it as they were concerned for my allergies. After this stay, it took me a week to recover from the allergy attacks that I had due to this hotel.
I will be writing corporate in regard to the condition of the property and the fact that it’s listed as a 4 star hotel, which is extremely misleading.
This hotel needs to be renovated, deep cleaned and rid of the obvious mold issues along with the glaring water leaks in the bathroom.
The staff was very nice!!
It was run down. The TV didn’t work. The linens smelled bad and the padding for the pull out sofa bed was all torn up. Overall I thought it needed some improvements. The staff was amazing though!
The staff was great and accommodating..from the bar/restaurant to the front desk staff
1. Booked as a king/double pull out and it was only a twin pull out, so needed a roll away
2. Only one of three elevators were working
3. Smelled of propane or a fire
4. Stopped in bar at 10pm, and there were small children running around. Screaming and wrestling
5. Room was dusty and pulling out bed it was rusty and old.
I’ve stayed at this hotel probably 50 times over the past four years, so this isn’t coming from a one-off visit.
The staff has always been the reason I come back. The front desk team is consistently solid, and most of the bartenders are genuinely great. They make it feel welcoming, and that’s kept me loyal longer than it probably should have.
But the building itself is starting to catch up in a bad way.
On several recent stays, there’s been a noticeable sewage smell in the lobby. It’s not subtle, and when I’ve mentioned it, the staff has acknowledged it, so it doesn’t seem like an isolated issue.
The elevator situation has also been a problem. Two of the three have been out of service since at least December, which turns getting up and down into more of a wait than it should be, especially at busy times.
On my most recent stay, I also ran into plumbing issues in the room. Both the sink and the tub had trouble draining, which isn’t something you expect at this level.
None of these things by themselves would be a dealbreaker. But when they keep showing up over multiple stays, it starts to feel like the property just isn’t being maintained the way it should be.
I’m in this area pretty regularly and have relied on this hotel for years, but at this point I’ll be looking at other options.
The rooms are nice
The facilities suck they don’t update if their pool is open or closed it was nasty down there couldn’t take the kids in the pool which is the only reason I choose to stay at Marriott’s in general was so mad I could have stayed at the Hyatt for less only chose this for the pool and hot tub but the hot tub was closed and the pool was an algae infested zest hole
It’s a place that my Girlfriend, her two children and I love so much for cleanliness, friendly people, good breakfast in addition to the huge ballroom space and calm environment
It seems like there is no microwaves available in the rooms for clients to warm their. You have to go all the way to the lobby by the front desk to do so. I didn’t like it
