Hotel with good quality
Pros:

The location is perfect as it close to the MTR station. Besides, it is close to some famous points such as Xintiandi and Tianzifang. The hotel is very new and fashion. Room is clean, tidy and comfortable. Overall it is very good.

房間小而美，內裝很新很時尚，跟照片一模一樣，隔音好，前台服務人員態度很親切的，因入住時剛好中秋佳節，飯店還提供了兩個小月餅，除了電梯稍嫌舊，走廊也有一點光線不足，其他的我都給佳評

Great location, great service. Free water, quiet hotel, easy to get to 10 and 13 line. Close to a great mall and 2 great food courts. Also nearby is an amazing wonton stall, and a jianbing stall. I only have 3 gripes: (1) it takes like 3 minutes for the TV to turn on, (2) the lights automatically turn on when you walk past them, so if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it auto turns on, then off, however if I go out for a run in the early AM, and then return home, when I close the front door, the lights turn on and the curtains open, which can be annoying if your partner/kid is still sleeping, (3) no gym.

Art Deco hotel, unsatisfactory service
Pros:

The Art Deco of this remodeled hotel is unique but the service and food needs to be upgraded/ improved to parallel to the interior design. Otherwise, it is just like a woman in good fashion but without any character nor real beauty.

Great service from arrival to departure. The boutique hotel is tastefully decorated in the common areas as well as the room. Furnishings are modern and of good quality, for a local hotel chain especially which can be a hit and miss sometimes. Rooms are well-equipped with amenities you'd expect from a 5-star hotel! There isn't much of a view from the room I had, but could just be because the location is right off a popular main road, and just a short walk to the nearest metro station that is only a few stops to most of the prime sights in Shanghai. Location is superb with walkable dining options everywhere and even a starbucks down the road too. The only downside for me is the bed is on the harder/firmer side which can be typical of Chinese hotels' mattress but I've also stayed at many other hotels that offer a more comfortable sleep bedding-wise. Doesn't quite take away from the great stay I had though, will definitely consider staying again if the price remains right.

Nice little hotel
