Perfect, nice staff, close to CLT Downtown
Pros:

The suite was really big, clean, real king size bed, very confortable, two large TV screens with movies available. Beautiful view on the splendid swimming area from the balcony. The breakfast was good and various. The welcome cookie was delicious. The hotel is 15min away from Charlotte Downtown. And on the top of the cake, the receptionist Chino has been really nice and helpful by suggesting us nice spots to see the 4th July fireworks, appreciated it. Our stay was perfect

Cons:

Small thing: during the breakfast, the staff don’t check if you have the breakfast included or not, so they automatically bring you a bill. I had to go to the front desk, explained the situation and got two tickets that proved the included breakfast

The Area

Cons:

The room was dirty, mold in shower and caulk. The entire room was dusty and there were stains on the furniture and some of the furniture was broken.

The power went out during a storm and the fire department had to be called due to a fire.

Loved the pool.
Pros:

We only stayed one day.liked the fact that the mall and shops were walking distance

Great location and comfortable, spacious room.
Pros:

The room (one bedroom/2 queen bed suite) was excellent. Clean and spacious, comfortable. Great access to a walking path to take pets as needed.

Cons:

After a 10 hour day of driving, the parking situation was a little odd, and when asking for a luggage cart, staff were not helpful in finding one and essentially told us “good luck.”

If I ever return to Charlotte, I will be back.
Pros:

During my stay at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Charlotte/ SouthPark, I found the staff incredibly kind. Particularly, Miracle, who'd go above and beyond for guests.

Additionally, the building was stunning. Particularly, the outdoor patio area and the pool. I felt like I was staying somewhere much more luxurious without the price point.

Furthermore, the location was terrific. There was a mall, several restaurants, and stores within reasonable walking distance.

Lastly, I really liked how the hotel offered complimentary cookies to its guests. Initially, I expected not to be able to eat it because I am allergic to nuts. However, once I was handed a nut-free cookie, I was pleased.

Cons:

While I really enjoyed my stay here, there were some things that I didn't like.

Firstly, while the hotel's exterior is gorgeous, my room was immensely outdated. For instance, my showerhead looked like it was going to fall off, which was disappointing since it's such a beautiful hotel.

Additionally, I didn't like how often they'd replenish the towels at the pool. Oftentimes, they'd run out of towels and have them sent to the room. Sometimes I even waited half an hour just to get the towel. I even noticed other guests bringing their hotel room towels because they didn't want to wait.

Therefore, I'd suggest the hotel update its rooms and replenish the towels for the pool more frequently, so guests don't feel obligated to bring their room towels.

With that being said, regardless of this, I enjoyed my stay here and would return if I am ever in the Charlotte area again.
