I wouldn't stay here.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

Outdated very old fashioned
Cold/drafty
Mould in the bathroom. Bath mat should have been in the bin. Old & dirty
The food was terrible. Restaurant menu was terrible. Breakfast wasn't much either, cold, really cold.
Room doors were hard to push open
Room doors werent safe. Locks were terrible
Lights didnt come on in the lobby to the rooms.
Entrance doors from the car / fire door was always open which leads to lifts. Not secure at all.
Smells old
TV's were from the early 90"s
Balcony door didnt lock

Good location but average facilities
Pros:

Location is good and not too far from London

Cons:

Room is good but Bathroom facilities are old , tap mixture is not working at all.
TV is too old and no USB port except on TV.
Balcony floor not cleaned and covered with green fungus.

Pros:

The staff were brilliant except for the chef who did not turn in. The reception and bar staff were exceptional helping us in every way.

Cons:

The original rooms we were allocated did not have working TV and the heating was locked. Very cold and windy weather needed the heating turned up. The hotel reception lady reallocated us to another room which was perfect.

Good location for work with great breakfast, although Hotel is looking tired
Pros:

Breakfast was great and although the hotel is very tired looking, I enjoyed sitting in the Bar area over a pint and watching telly

Cons:

Would be nice if you allows guests to open a tab for drinks - I don't like seeing multiple transactions on my Bank account.
It would be better if Breakfast started at 06:30 instead of 7:00

Altogether a lovely experience that I’d be very willing to repeat.
Pros:

I read reviews about this hotel AFTER I booked it and I was slightly worried by the reviews. But what I would say is, ignore the negative reviews. The hotel is lovely. It’s in a lovely area, very clean, staff are very helpful and friendly, very comfortable, very quiet and although an older style, it’s very interesting. The domed ceiling in reception is very eye catching and the whole experience was positive shills visiting. Lots of parking space too.

Cons:

It was exceptionally clean, quiet and interesting.
