The Aircon didn’t seem to work very well I believe the bath should be taken out and a shower should be putting
WiFi not great ie didn’t work on mine or my secretary lap tops . Not good
Been staying here for 45 years use like the rooms
After 35years last 2 visits been given basement room and if I wanted view of lake had upgrade, never had pay upgrade before wont start now, will not return.
Room overlooking the lake, room made up daily with fresh towels. Totally suitable for our purpose
Restaurant closed at 8pm so because of our work and the time we got back
we were unable to use it.
The reception staff are fabulous really helpful, the room we had was clean, clean towels each day & the room was serviced. The pizza was really tasty. Good location. Coffee machine in the room & the room was ok space wise.
The hotel is very very dated, old carpets cover the floors, curtains & furniture are from a different era, the outside area had hanging flowers baskets, covered in cobwebs, breakfast was not nice, tea & coffee from a flask. The balconies themselves are a silver outdated structure, hotel has potential but needs alot of tlc to bring it up to standard.
Dirty, poorly maintained hotel with serious accessibility issues and an even worse complaints process.
Our room was filthy, with cobwebs hanging above the bed, a damaged bathroom door, a faulty toilet and a room that was freezing cold. The lift was also out of order, causing significant difficulties as I am disabled.
The biggest issue, however, was the way the complaint was handled by Lynn, the Reservations Manager. Rather than investigating fairly, she dismissed the concerns raised, repeatedly challenged my account and made me feel as though I was being accused of lying.
A poor hotel experience made even worse by rude, defensive customer service and a complete lack of accountability.
Would not stay again and would not recommend.
