Welcoming and laid back atmosphere in a striking building
Pros:

I always have a pleasant stay at the Lakeside. Lovely staff and the lake itself is amazing, The location is handy for getting into London.

Cons:

The hotel could do with some updating but I do think that is part of its charm. Ive been in far more expensive hotels that have fallen short of expectations

An establishment stuck in a 1980s time warp.
Pros:

Reasonably close to Camberley

Cons:

I’m afraid this hotel is still stuck in the 80s. The decor doesn’t look to have been touched since then. Artex ceilings and patterned upholstery and carpets everywhere. Rooms large but very unloved in terms of how they’re presented. Just one bedside table for a double bed.
Wait staff in the restaurant friendly but not very professional. Lady who served pizzas was lovely. Very old fashioned breakfast service. Fill out a form to say what you’d like to eat!
The whole effect said dated and neglected.
