The location is amazing- steps from the beach, you can hear the waves crash from your room. The staff were amazing and help led us with every query we had. They were available on WhatsApp all the time and got us taxis, helped us get some laundry done and gave us tips about where to go.
Our room was an upper room without air con - in late April the room was very hot always. The fans didn’t do much to help so it was hard to sleep. The nearby Rasta bar on the beach play music quite late too so our first night (Saturday) this was very loud. Also the upper room is quite open to the elements. With gaps in windows and roof so if you’re scared of bugs / lizards this might not be the place for you.
Great location, steps for the beach, responsive staff, 5 minute walk from the center of town, great restaurants close by, quiet and relaxing jungle style environment, was able disconnect hustle of life in the city.
Mosquitoes, but I don’t think you can escape them anywhere along the beach/coast.

I liked the natural setting with the trees and thatched huts & it’s just off the beach of course.
The furniture in and around the pool could be updated or cleaned at least.

This hotel should be a 9.5 or higher. Our first stay here and it was wonderful. The negative reviews apparently can’t read the room descriptions which clearly state which rooms have air conditioning. We opted to stay in the upper level rooms, which do not have air conditioning. We actually got cold at night, with just the fans running. The location is great, the beach bar is one of the prettiest on the beach. The hotel employees were all great, including especially Mario. Strongly recommend if you want a luxurious but eco-style experience…

perfect located, next to the beach, a small house with our room on the ground floor. It has slightly open wooden windows/doors, so you always have a cool breeze in the room - we did not need to use the fan/AC. The beach and the beachbar are idyllic and relaxing (we enjoyed the drinks there). They even provide you with earplugs if you are sensitive to the music from the bars. Stylish interior. Very friendly staff, free water and coffee at the reception.
No hacen claridad que hay unos cuartos sin aire acondicionado. Esto me parece grave de parte de ellos y de booking no tener esa claridad porque es un sitio de mucho calor. Y siendo así el precio es muy alto para no cumplir con esto
