Hotel location is perfect for Union Square and for public transport links. Very close to the main Union Square shopping area and transport links for the city. The art deco lobby is wonderful warm, spacious and welcoming. Valet parking is available next door from a separate company but is perfect for loading / unloading luggage, not a huge car park so limited spaces. Although didn’t have any problems with being full.
Very friendly and clean.ask for yesha, she's great help
Nixxy was great
Was able to get everything sorted out prior to stay to have a less stressful experience
Staff was absolutely lovely and helpful. Hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the famous cable car. We had a great time in SF. Thank you
The hotel staff were friendly on arrival and the hotel lobby was welcoming. The location was close to union square however it was on the outskirts of the tenderloin district so it didn’t feel particularly safe walking home in the dark. The hotel rooms were also quite small. The hotel bar wasn’t open. They mentioned you got a reusable cup in the room which was cute however it would have been nice to receive one each as they only left one.
Lovely hotel and lovely Team! Brian at the welcome desk was very nice and helpful. The room was a bit noisy at night, but that what you would expect from being at the city center.
Great location in a safe area of the city, comfortable beds and cool rooms - Yesha at the front desk was particularly kind and welcoming. Great stay overall
The staff were friendly and the hotel lobby was really funky. The beds were comfortable.
The location wasn’t great. We didn’t realise before we booked that it was in a precarious location on the edge of tenderloin. The rooms could also do with a refresh. There wasn’t much storage and the one shelf we had in the bathroom we couldn’t use as it was hanging off.
Charming building with available parking next door.
Noisy Neighbourhood
Rooms are small but have everything you need. Spotlessly clean and the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Very nice shower too.
Whilst the hotel is very nice the location isn’t great at all. There are loads of homeless people on the streets outside 24/7 with needles and drugs. Also witnessing several altercation. It did make us feel uneasy and not safe so always got an uber right outside the hotel to take us out of the area instead of walking.
staff was very good
It had two small comforter so me my wife are had different one. Smell around the floor to elevator area.

The worst experience in my life in a hotel.
The elevator was out of service during my entire stay, and no one offered to help with luggage or food deliveries. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work, and they blocked access to my room without any notice, leaving me locked out with my belongings inside. It’s unacceptable for a 4-star hotel to be without an elevator, and for most of the staff — except for Manuel Sarmiento, who was kind and helpful — to be so discourteous. When I went to ask about a charge on my bill, one of the staff members told me he didn’t want to talk to me. Completely unprofessional.
The hotel was centrally located to everything I wanted to visit. Also great location to catch the cable cars and tour buses. Also some great restaurants nearby.
I did not have any dislikes.
