Pros:

I have given a break on the way to Istanbul from a holiday in the mountains of Rize. This is a very good hotel for such a break as the city is located almost halfway to Istanbul which uses a very historic building in the middle of the old town. The service was good and friendly, and the room was clean and very exotic.

Probably the best option for Merzifon
Pros:

The building is really impressive and it is a nice experience to sleep in a historical building. But the sound isolation is weak and every noise can disturb your sleep. Unfortunately they offer breakfast at 8, which for us was too late.
