Fantastic Hotel!
Pros:

The room, food and staff were all fantastic! My partner especially loved it, she said it was one of the best places she'd ever stopped in.Nothing at all to fault, we will definitely be returning!

Cons:

I can honestly say there was nothing we disliked!

An excellent hotel in the heart of New Brighton. :)
Pros:

My stay at The New Brighton Hotel, in the heart of New Brighton itself was excellent. My room was lovely and clean, the bed / bathroom / etc was just superb, the TV was great, and the room overall for the price paid was really good value for money I feel. I had a very quiet and peaceful chillax here and could see that the bar / restaurant / reception area was also very good. :) Even though I had no food and drink on my stay this time at the hotel, I think that this aspect will not disappoint at all. Overall an excellent stay at an excellent hotel. Thank-you. :)

Great place to stay
Pros:

I was incredibly impressed with the young gentleman who greeted us, checked us in, served our meal, ran the bar and kept all the guests entertained and well looked after. Im not sure how he kept up with it all and especially as he was always smiling and polite even though he seemed to be everywhere doing everything. The whole place was absolutely spotlessly clean and the staff all take a lot of pride in their roles and their customer Service. They were all very warm, friendly and helpful. We arrived late and not knowing the area I was a little concerned about going out at night but the next day out and about, everyone, especially the locals, were so friendly. We paused at the corner of a street slightly lost at which direction to go and a local man left the queue he was in and approached us to help. All the staff in local shops were chatty and friendly. I was really impressed by the people in the area. We kept finding interesting things as we walked around like statues and an abundance of beautiful murals painted on the ends of houses, random walls and scattered about between streets. They really are stunning and interesting works of art and had we been able to stay longer I would have loved to search the streets for more. The beach is lovely and really close to shops, cafes, bars and facilities and I love that there are unique places of interest like the lighthouse and fort. There were some great local cafes with really reasonably priced food and nice outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the sun. I wasnt sure what to expect but its an enjoyable blend of British seaside with history and a unique view of the industrial side of Liverpool from accross the River Mersey. And there was lots of local free parking.

Cons:

There was only one, sad, lonely, slightly shabby looking boat in the marina which is a real shame because it would have been great to see a packed marina with many different types of boats.

Pros:

The staff were helpful when present, location good for our needs

Cons:

The hotel wasn't staffed 24 hours
We had to change our room as the noise from a heat pump outside our ( no visibility) window kept us awake all night
We had an issue in that we returned after a day out( having changed our room but no key giving due to cleaning), we were locked out and nobody answered the phone for an hour. Eventually, after booking a room elsewhere someone arrived, but by then it was almost midnight
In all a disappointment aside from the staff

Nettes Hotel über einem Pub
Pros:

Hotel ist Teil eines traditionellen lokalen Pubs. Unser Zimmer war einfach, auch nicht ganz neu, aber hatte alles, was wir brauchten und war sauber. Modernes Bad. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer war über dem Pub, aber da wir unter der Woche da waren, war es nicht laut. Sehr gute Anbindung mit der S-Bahn nach Liverpool.

Cons:

Leider gab es kein Frühstück. In der Gegend gibt's zwar ein paar nette kleine Lokale, in denen man auch frühstücken kann, aber eher traditionell englisch. Außerdem hatten wir geglaubt, es gebe einen Strand, an dem man entlang spazieren könnte, den gab's aber nicht (oder wir haben ihn nicht gefunden). Dafür ein riesiges Zentrum mit Restaurants, Supermarkt und Kino. Wirkte etwas fehlplatziert in dem kleinen Ort.

Pros:

Local to our needs

Cons:

Comfy room, hard bed good for your back, but only if your use to that kind of bed. Very poor shower, needs sorting before anyone else uses it, no power and it wouldn’t stay in place as the holder for the shower head was slipping down.

Friendly good value hotel would recommend
Pros:

Great location for us as we were going to the Pavilion theatre. Lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Obviously a locals favourite ❤️ place for socialising and functions (party on Saturday night, music till 11.45 but didn’t bother us at all) Staff were friendly especially lady who serves breakfast. Had breakfast and dinner there and both were very enjoyable 👍. Prices for accommodation food and drink were very good , value for money. Would stay again

Cons:

The only thing that wasn’t good for us was the very small shower cubicle. I struggled with it and I’m small but my husband is 6ft and found it very difficult to use. If we stay again I’ll ask for a room with a bigger one or a shower over bath but apart from that we really enjoyed our stay there

What a gem for dogs owners
Pros:

Welcoming staff, definitely dog friendly - treats and water provided. Clean rooms comfortable beds and enough room for dogs and 2 of us. Showers fine ensuite fine
Food in bar was delicious and probably standard cost nowadays.
Cost reasonable but the actual area is amazing nice park for dogs only 50m away 200m away is fantastic beach for dogs with views over Merseyand city centre
The murals on houses were stunning plenty of options for all ages and tastes.on beachfront t

Cons:

Really nit picking but put on wall by door that if you want room cleaned and new towels hang door sign to say so (it does say so on the blurb sheet provided but once you get WiFi password you don't concentrate on other stuff)Having said that the reception brought up fresh towels within minutes of the request.
