Location was excellent for the venue we were attending. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Hotel restaurant food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful . Would stay again if I ever go to New Brighton again.
A bit noisy from bars opposite till quite late and no aircon through heatwave.
The parking an food was very good
Nothing really apart from think it needs aircon for when very hot windows don’t open wide enough an the small fan didn’t really done anything
We arrived quite late in the evening (2100) but check-in was easy, friendly & informative. Family room spacious enough for a family of 4 (with 2 teenagers) and dog-friendly. Information on booking was clear that on Friday/Saturday there would be live music, could be loud until late as well as that rooms were accessible only via stairs was understood & appreciated. Our host even directed us to nearby greenery that we would conveniently toilet our dog.
No fault of the accommodation but we stayed at the tail end of a heat wave & one of the rooms was warmer than the other due to poor ventilation (regardless of the windows being open or a fan being provided) This 2nd room however did have a mini fridge which was particularly useful for us to keep snacks/food since we’d be continuing on a ferry/road trip the next day.

Parking can be a problem although I managed to find a space on a side street. Can be a bit noisy

Warm welcome when we arrived. Shown to our rooms and also how to exit and enter the building when the pub was not open. Room was small but had all the facilities needed. Furnishings were relatively modern and clean. Bathroom suite was modern and shower was powerful. Huge fan provided which we needed as it was a very warm weekend. Enough shelf/wardrobe space for a weekend.
