Hotel is excellent value for money. Would recommend strongly.
Pros:

Great breakfast in a very relaxed atmosphere. Very good choice of cooked and continental breakfast.
Staff were welcoming, friendly and very efficient with service.

Cons:

Nothing really.
The complementary mini bar was a welcome surprise. I can't think of many hotels who offer that.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est impeccable pour visiter Édimbourg pendant quelques jours. Le personnel est adorable et les chambres sont décorées avec goût, confortables et dotées de tous les services que l’on peut en attendre. Nous recommandons vivement ! Le petit déjeuner ainsi que les tapas proposés le soir au dernier étage de l’hôtel sont très bons.

Lovely short break in Edinburgh, as ever, enhanced by staying at the Market Street Hotel. We would definitely stay here

Very convenient location being walking distance from Waverley station and all areas of interest in central Edinburgh.
Lovely helpful and friendly staff.
Comfortable, clean, very well equipped and stylish rooms
Excellent Champagne café bar for relaxing at any time with hot or cold food and drinks
The delicious and very varied breakfasts are also served there.

Cons:

We liked everything
Suggestions for improvements would be larger bath towels and having easy to find instructions for using things in the rooms, though this wasn’t a problem for us as such.
We couldn’t get the radios to work for example
