Pros:

The best property I have stayed at in my several visits through Europe. Ever smiling & helpful staff. Hotel has luxurious old world charm. The breakfast was outstanding. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This is one of the best hotels I have seen. The rooms are spacious and big. Everything there is very stylish and up to date. Love the interior of the hotel. The restaurant was also pretty good and accommodating of my food allergies.
The best thing about this hotel is that it’s in the heart of the city and is quite accessible to everything. I will definitely want to come back to this city and will love to stay in this hotel again!

Ein beeindruckendes Hotel mit erstklassigem Ambiente, aber Service mit Luft nach oben

Mein Aufenthalt im Grand Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski war insgesamt angenehm, doch im Vergleich zu meinem letzten Besuch (vor der Renovierung) musste ich einige Abstriche beim Service machen.

Check-In & Empfang:
Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, ich fühlte mich sofort willkommen. Besonders angenehm war, dass mich die Rezeptionistin sogar persönlich zum Zimmer begleitete – ein schöner Touch, der echten Luxus widerspiegelt.

Zimmer & Renovierung:
Ich erhielt das gleiche Zimmer wie bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt und war absolut begeistert vom neuen Design! Die Renovierung ist hervorragend gelungen, mein Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten, hochwertig ausgestattet und wirkte modern, ohne den klassischen Charme des Hauses zu verlieren.

Gastronomie & Room Service:
Leider konnte mich der Service in den Restaurants und beim Room Service dieses Mal nicht überzeugen. Das Essen im Palais Restaurant war ausgezeichnet, und der Service war zwar aufmerksam, aber wenig herzlich – fast lustlos. Auch beim Room Service, den ich mehrfach für Frühstück und Abendessen nutzte, erlebte ich das gleiche Gefühl von Distanz. Nicht unfreundlich, aber auch nicht warm und gastfreundlich. Zudem fehlte auf dem Serviertisch die sonst übliche Blumendekoration – eine Kleinigkeit, die in der Luxushotellerie aber einen großen Unterschied macht.

Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt: Afternoon Tea im Café Amalie. Ich freute mich sehr darauf
