I loved the location and the nostalgia of the jungle within the hotel , hotel staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast included was a very nice touch with the three options. Although we didn’t do the classes, we’re glad we were given a list of activities and the schedule to RSVP. Free access to Tulum jungle gym and to the Art with me was also very generous.

Cons:

Our ceiling fan wasn’t working and water pressure was very low

Go if u want great views and service. But as. Should it lacking basics

It’s quaint and quirky quiet. They have found some innovative solutions for lack of basics. Ex there is no phone in the room but there is what’s app
There is no coffee machine or hot water kettle in the room but they will give coffee in the room. But only after 7:30. But no one responded to my request for coffee in the room

Cons:

They don’t have basics in the room like hot water kettle and tea and coffee facilities. There is no way to get coffee before 7:30 if u want to. They are super stingy on coffee at breakfast as well. Americano is included and cappuccino is not indicated. That’s the weirdest thing I have heard.
They have a very basic looking pool and the restaurant cannot be called a beach bar. I visited 4 beach bars in other hotels in the same line and all were fun and happening.

Another Perfect Visit
Pros:

Another amazing stay at Ahau Tulum. I can't rave about this place enough. From our rustic but luxurious room to the fact you are actually steps from the beach everything during my stay was pefect. Hightlights are always the staff, beach staff and my man Sergio in the restaurant who took care of us every morning for breakfast. I have been here a few times and he has taked great care of us. We also took advantage of the wellness progtams. Can't wait to come back !

Incredible hotel and vibes
Pros:

This hotel is a dream, one of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen.

Cons:

Slightly torn, neighbor hotel about 10 feet from our location had an all night "Moon party", cranking DJ music until 1am, but honestly, if we weren't whipped from a full day, it would have probably been fun to join! Incredible property. Did have water cut off one morning causing some hiccups, but it was repaired in short order.

Best Girls trip
Pros:

The best view in Tulum! All the staff was so friendly will definitely have to comeback! We loved Sergio! Always willing to help and good attitude
