We recommend it a lot
Another amazing stay at Ahau Tulum. I can't rave about this place enough. From our rustic but luxurious room to the fact you are actually steps from the beach everything during my stay was pefect. Hightlights are always the staff, beach staff and my man Sergio in the restaurant who took care of us every morning for breakfast. I have been here a few times and he has taked great care of us. We also took advantage of the wellness progtams. Can't wait to come back !
This hotel is a dream, one of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen.
Slightly torn, neighbor hotel about 10 feet from our location had an all night "Moon party", cranking DJ music until 1am, but honestly, if we weren't whipped from a full day, it would have probably been fun to join! Incredible property. Did have water cut off one morning causing some hiccups, but it was repaired in short order.

Très beau petit resort avec cabanes dans une petite jungle tranquille. Super bien placé, près de beaux et bons restaurants. Les installations, mobilier / Coussins extérieurs commencent à avoir de l'âge. C'est un style bohème chic rustique, faut en être conscient. Le service est super mais pourrait être plus rapide au restaurant. Le service de bar avec Carlos à la plage et Jorge au bar du lobby le soir était super!
La chambre était magnifique avec une douche extérieure. Oui il y a des moustiques (maringouins) mais avec du chasse moustique, c'est super de pouvoir prendre le café le matin à l'extérieur avec une belle vue partielle sur la.mer avec une bonne brise! On a bien aimé malgré le prix!
Les prix pourraient être moins cher. C'est devenu exorbitant de prendre un Mezcalitas ou une Marguerita à 320 pesos (25$ canadien) sur la plage. On est conscient que c'est "touristique" mais les prix, même pour un café sont trop élevés.
While I am giving this hotel 5 stars, I want to stress that it is because of Fernando, Sergio, Moses and all of the other amazing servers and workers at the hotel. We have been to Ahau 4 times over the course of 14 years. Our last trip was 10 years ago. Tulum in general, has changed drastically. The hotel itself is beautiful but you can tell that it’s under new ownership that is not from the area. The whole experience was very different than when we came many years ago. They also tried to sell us a vacation club membership and wasted about 2 hours of my time on vacation. The service was great. Food was just ok. View is beautiful. Beach is nice when there’s no sargassum and it is incredibly expensive for what you get.
Beautiful facility and amazing staff. Very personal and attentive treatment of guests. A lot of activities, entertainment and great food with a fabulous restaurant on site. Located right in the heart of the hotel zone near clubs and other restaurants, yet still quiet and relaxing in the late hours. We felt very safe and taken care of. The staff even provided us with breakfast to go before the kitchen opened for our travel home. Absolutely highly recommended.
Beautiful property, wonderful staff from carrying every bag to excellent service at the restaurant and beach. The morning yoga was breathtaking and so authentic. Incredible energy at the property and highly recommend! Perfect location to walk to all the great restaurants and shops as well.
