Pros:

Ottima posizione, è possibile raggiungere a piedi la città vecchia e il ponte delle catene, inoltre è possibile raggiungere la vicina stazione metro per arrivare in centro, o in qualunque punto della città.

Cons:

La camera era leggermente fredda, c'era il solito termostato "finto", ormai comune in molti alberghi, per regolare la temperatura. A partire dalla seconda notte ho chiesto una coperta supplementare. Il garage (20 euro a notte) aveva la porta di accesso aperta anche la notte, sarebbe potuto entrare chiunque.

Nice but overpriced & overrated
Pros:

Lovely decor, spacious enough rooms, comfortable beds, however the rooms were boiling. The AC didn’t work very well at all. Sleeping with window open in late January (it’s literally been snowing) and still waking up sweating resulting in restless sleep each night.

The breakfast buffet was wayyyyy over priced for what it is. One of the most expensive buffet breakfasts I’ve seen, considering the building is shared with IBIS, I’m curious if they charge mercure guests more due to the hotel being a ‘4-star’ (3.9 on here) for the same food or whether the overpriced breakfast is supposed to be budget friendly too.

The first 24hrs we had no WiFi due to connection issues which sucked as it cost me more to use my mobile data. We had to connect to some conference WiFi for the rest of our stay, only after going up to reception to complain.

Communal space was nice, the dinner selection wasn’t the best at all. Nothing available for a fussy eater. The gentleman playing the instrument was lovely & and the staff were all friendly too.

Very good position if you are not willing to stay in the crowded city center
Pros:

Very good position. Train station is next to. Metro as well. Easy access driving into Budapest. Parking on the spot very comfortable bed.
