Great choice for Lake Garda
Pros:

The Solho Bardolino is a great choice for Lake Garda if you would like a modern hotel within steps to the restaurants, shops and the Lake. The rooms are nice if you choose one with a large balcony. Minor issues is lack of drawers and shelfs and hangers to put your clothes out. They also do not have an iron and ironing board which was needed as clothes were creased due to lack of sufficient wardrobe space. The breakfasts were excellent for us as vegetarians with a large range of cheeses, grilled vegetables, fruits, cereals, breads and jams including their own honey. The staff at breakfast and in reception were lovely, helpful and friendly. Another plus is the rooftop pool and bar.

Ein modernes und schickes Hotel mit einer perfekten Lage
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, das Zentrum von Bardolino ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist modern, hell und sehr einladend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich, geschmacklich sehr gut und qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Der Pool und die Roftop Bar sind einmalig, mitunter war das Platzangebot beengt und es gab zu manchen Zeiten keine freie Liegestühle. Der Service an der Pool Bar ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Cons:

Auf die Anfrage hin, ob es möglich wäre am Abreistag noch ein paar Stunden im Pool zu verbringen, wurde uns klar gemacht, dass dies aufrgund der hohen Belegung nicht möglich ist. Auch hat uns gestört, dass wir trotz Einheitspreis zwei verschiedene Zimmertypen, mit und ohne Balkon, zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen haben. Auf Nachfragen hin, wurde ein Wechsel des Zimmers ausgeschlossen. Am Abreistag wurde uns Handtücher in Rechnung gestellt, die fleckig waren. Insgesamt hätten wir uns mehr Flexibilität, kundenorientierten Service und Kulanz gewünscht. Auch hatt ich das Gefühl, das unsere Wünsche zurückgewiesen wurden, ohne dass darauf eingegangen wurde.

Trotz den kleinen Mängeln würden wir das Hotel jederzeit wieder wählen weil es ein rundum schöner Urlaub war.

Fantastic stay in wonderful Bardolino hotel
Pros:

This is a wonderful hotel, well located and within an easy stroll of the centre of Bardolino. All the staff were helpful and friendly, bedroom was large, clean and well appointed. Public rooms spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was oustanding, an incredible choice, well presented and delicious! Beautiful rooftop bar is a bonus. There is secure private car parking below hotel.
