New hotel with great amenities…just wish the parking situation was better

Great staff

We were placed in a room next to the main drag of town, so it was incredibly loud with semi trucks all night. It wasn’t a restful stay. Wish we could've experienced a different part of the hotel.

Add a chair to your single rooms so a person can watch TV at night without having to sit on the edge of bed. Watched baseball game on edge of bed. Sucked. Otherwise hotel was great. Had a king room.

The hotel was very clean, it was quiet. The breakfast accommodations were very nice. I wish there was a bit more parking, but we enjoyed the hotel.

The room was relatively large and comfortable. One wall was all glass with a slider for access to the roomy balcony. The bathroom was roomy, too, with an attractive modern walk-in shower. Decent choices for continental breakfast including two waffle makers and a high-tech coffee machine that made latte, cappuccino, and other specialty drinks. There is a bar on the roof with great views of the city and harbor, but the drinks are quite expensive. There is not much seating capacity for breakfast. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Great location a block from downtown shopping and eating.

Beautiful hotel. Brandon, the desk clerk was wonderful! So friendly and helpful! The hotel was immaculate and our room was wonderful. Large corner room, fantastic bathroom; only downside was traffic noise as the room was facing the Main Street. It quieted down around 11:30 pm but started up again around 5:30 am. Lovely courtyard area with fire pits and a beautiful lounger area where a very good continental breakfast was served. Went up to the roof top bar area for an awesome view, but was not around in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again.

Room, location, and service was great. Parking was the only issue…there isn’t enough.

Very well decorated and unique hotel with good service and breakfast but rooms are not noise proofed. I could hear the people on either side of my room coughing and talking. Not private. Would not return.

The Earl is a very nice boqique feeling hotel in a great location in Charlevoix. The amenities are great. I used the outdoor hot tub which was really nice, I did wish there was more lighting outdoors around the hot tub though. I was out there alone and it felt pretty creepy. I moved to the indoor pool which was really cool with the fountain! The website says it has a light continental breakfast but it was actually a lot more food than I thought there would be, bagels, waffles, oatmeal, etc. The rooftop bar was closed due to weather but I went up and looked around and it looked really nice. My only issue was I was in room 101 right off the lobby and I could hear people yelling in the lobby watching a football game and drinking, and at 5am someone when by with a cart in the hallway and woke me up, but those are very minor compared to how nice the property and employees were.
