Hampton Inn is a well maintained clean property with all amenities. It is close to the University of Illinois and offers plenty of free parking spaces.

Pros:

The free coffee.

Cons:

The exercise room has nothing but treadmill and few cycles. No weights, no machines, very tiny, no mats. One elevator was broken the whole stay, causing long waits. Stairs are very far from elevator. There is no laundry service. The airconditioning unit in our room was broken.

This was my second stay at Hamptons and it feels like home. Staff are friendly and services are excellent.
Pros:

Clean and spotless. All utilities are easily available and working. I loved the suite.

Cons:

On some of the days breakfast is too minimalist with limited spreads. I miss the Omelette , hash brown and bacon which used to be available earlier

Absolutely unacceptable place to stay!
Pros:

This hotel has some real issues! Only one elevator was working so it took several minutes to get to our floor! Breakfast had no meat. Just gravy and biscuits. The eating area was hot and uncomfortable! There was no refrigerator in the room! For the price they charge, you would expect more. There are plenty of nice hotels close so I don’t recommend staying here!
