Great view, comfortable mattresses, but very noisy.
Pros:

The hotel is in a very strategic location, with a beautiful view of the river. The building itself is beautiful, and it is clear that the place is well cared for. However, there are some areas that have lost their charm over time, such as the terraces, and could benefit from some renovation and attention.
On the positive side, the mattresses were very comfortable and helped compensate for the otherwise sleepless night.

Cons:

During the hot summer weather, the cooling system was not sufficient, so we had to sleep with the windows open. Unfortunately, this made the room extremely noisy. It might be a good idea for the hotel to provide earplugs for guests.

Séjour très agréable
Pros:

Très bon emplacement pour visiter la ville à pied.

Pros:

Personal muy amable. Muy buena ubicación. Habitaciones cómodas y limpias. Vistas espectaculares desde las ventanas de las habitaciones.

Cons:

Las habitaciones no tenían aire acondicionado y pasamos bastante calor (nos tocó una época muy calurosa de agosto). A pesar de eso, había ventiladores disponibles.
Por otro lado, los baños son algo incómodos y raros, parecen de avión. En nuestro caso, al estar solo una noche no nos importó.

Disappointing stay
Pros:

The location was only 10 minutes from the main train station. The size of the room was fine. We didn't see any staff but they were responsive on messages.

Cons:

This wasn't what we expected. The facilities were basic. The floor creaked really badly. The fridge wasn't working but the next day they fixed it. There was no aircon but apparently this is normal in Genevas old buildings. There was a small old kettle. There was no hair dryer. A lot could be done to improve this place.
