Staff for most part great. Mortimers…. Always enjoy! Room comfortable! I really like staying there but some things
Pros:

Mortimer bar has vegan food which was convenient as you don’t want to be either confined to your bedroom to eat (uber eats) or go out after a day of sight seeing and appointments…. Bed really comfortable. New walk in shower great improvement. Clean. Staff mostly helpful, courteous and friendly especially the valet parking staff. Great cocktails in mortimers.

Cons:

Housekeeping/concierge….. rang up about Mortimers bar opening times and they were less than helpful! There is a difference in opening times on information in room and reality! Menu in main restaurant severely lacking in choice for vegan and gluten free. For price was not worth going! Breakfast….. for that price could you get a decent coffee? Should also be able to get a continental breakfast as a cheaper option. To me, main restaurant just a money making venture…. Very disappointed. We ran out of toilet paper during the night….. (would have thought spare rolls would have been left when room serviced).. rang up reception at around 8am who promised to get some up!!!!! Still wasn’t there …. Nor was the room ‘made up’ by 4:30!

The tv’s are over 20 years old. Not a smart tv, and tiny, actually beyond a joke.

Room service is ridiculously overpriced, and average.

King bed is 2 singles pushed together, so the middle of the bed is uncomfortable. Bathrooms are tiny and impractical.

Staff weren’t friendly and concierge took multiple calls to get anything requested.

Will never stay here again

Pros:

Location near to the park. Breakfast was good. Bedroom comfortable. Clean.

Cons:

I think the food needs significantly upgraded and the menu clarified because it’s quite misleading. The non alcoholic drinks menu left a lot to be desired.

The service was poor. I was there for one week for a business conference within the Hotel. I didn’t use the cleaners until Wednesday and left the “Do Not disturb” sign on the door all the way up to 3pm where we were due a break in the conference. As soon as I entered the room to take an hours break and put the sign up again the cleaner within five minutes out a sign on the door saying that they came. I was staying on the level where the washing room was. It was like they knew I was coming. That means my room hadn’t been cleaned or towels not changed over for a few days. When I went to the concierge and explained this she said she would fix it. I arrived back in the room around 10.30pm after the conference (coincidentally the conference was about how to run a customer based business and good service being a value to customer satisfaction), they had replaced towels but no bath mat, just pulled the same bedding over and no one vacuumed. This is super poor service for a hotel which should be about customer satisfaction and service throughout the hotel. The first night on the Monday I ordered the soup. Basically it was tomato soup which cost a lot. One piece of toast cut in two and no butter? I had to ask for that and so the girl went down to the kitchen to get it again. This was room service.

The Pullman used be part of the Art Series Hotel chain but since Accor have taken over it has fallen to pieces.

I won’t be staying here again.
