Room was nice but when I checked in they surprise charged me additional 50$ with out informing me

The room was nice. I liked the lay out and the bathroom was big.

Cons:

When I checked in they automatically took a 50$ deposit that was supposed to be back in my account by 11 am check out but I still have not received my deposit. Not to mention I wasn't even informed that they were going to do that and when I mentioned to the staff the man was kind of rude saying that normal for all hotels as if he should have to let me know before they just charged my account and additional 50$. Also They put me in the room right next to the office and Everytime the door shut it was very loud and people kept coming through it off and in all night.

Everything, the TV was not working, the room was dirty with crumbs all over the furniture, the sheets and comforter were dirty and people yelling all hours of the night, the coffee make was broken

I DEMAND A REFUND.
Pros:

I absolutely hated this hotel.

Cons:

The room had been renovated but there was sheetrock dust all over the furniture and room, the tub had a dark yellow stain, the smoke alarm was not working (notified Amarillo Fire Dept), the sheets were torn, the tub would not drain, the toilet seat was broken, the list goes on. I can send an inspection report I created of the room but need an email to send it.My check-in was 3/13/26 and I immediately checked-out the following morning and got at room at Tru by Hilton.

Never again...stay away.
Pros:

Dirty room, and I mean filthy. Holes in walls. Staff was rude, would not give the same room type reserved and refused to refund.

Good location, price right, would stay again.

Had coffee and rated tots. Not a good selection at all.

Rooms mainly bathrooms need some updates. Also plug updates for laptops and cellphone
