Motel 6-Knoxville, TN

Black mold on the ceiling, paint drops all over the floor where they repainted, dead cockroach on the crown molding, all the addicts hanging out in the parking lot most of the night, bug crap on the door hinges

It was a BARE BONE room. It is a much older motel with some upgrades in the bathroom, but the sink faucet was not secure and wobbled when turning the water on and only 1 bar of soap. No shampoo, hair conditioner, or hand lotion. The beds were on open metal frames, plenty of towels, no top cover over the sheets, very ugly curtain, cable tv, ceiling had an area that was peeling, and the floor felt sticky. It did not smell. This motel appeared to be a weekly rental place, the parking lot was full. I was put in a room on the 1st floor as requested but it was in the back and truly did not feel that I was in a safe location. I was able to back my car right up in front of my room. Took my belongs and dinner in and did not go out again until in the early morning when I checked out. I would not stay there again not would I recommend it to travelers.

The room was in poor condition. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. The ceiling was peeling. The walls were in rough shape. The mattress was 2-3 inches thick with no foundation and you could feel the springs. The noise from I40 was loud. We have stayed in many Motel 6's before but this was the worst!

Room was outdated tv remote didn't work broke chairs mattress needed replaced springs starting to come out of mattress floor dirty had to wear socks so feet wouldn't get dirty

That I given 2 queen rooms when I reserved two King rooms but ended up in the end getting too clean rooms and one King room smoking when I was supposed to have gotten three King rooms smoking but ended up with that

I didn't like the fact that the dryer took my money and would not replace it. Im extremely upset about the fact my toilet over flowed and when I went and complained about it.They proceeded to hand me a plunger. I explain to them that there was toilet water with p*** and probably some poop in it all over the bathroom floor that I also would do something to clean it with.I'm having to do it myself.She told me they did not have cleaning stuff that someone had borrowed it and not giving it back. So after she seen that I was not satisfied with that answer after me explaining how unsanitary that was and how we still needed a toilet to work , she then sent a housekeeper down to help me plunge it and help me clean it up. I'm\n Sorry, but I paid over $70 a night for that room. I should not have to clean up a toilet overflowing. They should have accommodated me with another room or at least an extra night for free. Considering you made me plunge and clean up the shifty mess myself. I really feel like they should have compensated me in some way to make up for my inconvenience. It made me feel like they thought that I wasn't worthy that I was just some low life staying at the motel because I know that I've seen many places compensate compensate with a free night for way. So it's just like I wasn't as important as other people.00

some of the rooms are upgraded and some of the others are not. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
