Tout etait parfait
This hotel checked all of the boxes we were looking for during our weekend in Madrid. The hotel location is great (we walked to both the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace from the hotel). There is also a Metro Station 50 meters from the hotel door. While you’re walkable to everything, you’re tucked away enough that it stays relatively quiet and sleep was undisturbed by the late Madrid nights. The hotel maintains the typical “young” Aloft brand feel and vibe, but I found the staff to be at a level of professional service above the typical Aloft experience. They were friendly, helpful, always available (and even allowed me to practice my Spanish with them even though their English was much better than my Spanish)! The rooms are clean, newly furnished and comfortable. Also, key for us during our stay was the excellent air conditioning that kept the room very comfortable even on the hottest of days. Finally, they have a great breakfast setup in the lobby every morning which features eggs, sausage, ham, cheeses and meats, bread and jams as well as American cereals (like Frosted Flakes) and yogurts. For the price, this hotel can’t be beat!
I thought it was brilliant. Very central, the staff were polite, the facilities including the gym were great. No complaints and thought the whole experience was spot on.
Maybe the breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was. The rooftop was unfortunately closed I think for maintenance. However, this didn't hamper the experience.

We did not have the hotel breakfast, but we heard it was very good. Loved the location of the hotel. Anka and Andrea, the two servers in the WXYZ bar were both outstanding as were the front desk receptionists! Felt more secure knowing the property has onsite guards.
