Soggiorno in palazzo d’epoca
Pros:

Ottima posizione in centro, possibilità di utilizzo della piscina molto rilassante dopo una giornata a camminare per il centro. Proprio un palazzo d’epoca coi pro e i contro ma esperienza bella.

El señor de la familia que se encarga de la gestión del palacio es muy amable y atento. Antes de llegar te envían un email con una pequeña guía de que hacer en Jerez que es muy útil

Cons:

Las habitaciones están viejas, el armario huele a humedad y no se puede utilizar. El baño necesita una actualización urgente

Special stay in the heart of Jerez
Pros:

Perfect location: really close to alcazar, cathedral, old town, bodegas and lots of good restaurants. Warm welcome from host (including really interesting tour of the palacio). Comfortable room with all of the necessary facilities and a very distinctive style making it a special stay.
Helpful and comprehensive list of things to do / places to eat etc which we used a lot. Good recommendations all round.

Cons:

Nothing...other than we didn't get round to using the pool! But it was available and looked great.

Royal accommodation in a perfect location
Pros:

The hotel is an actual palace which makes it really special. The rooms are beautifully appointed in the style of the palace. The location is amazing! Within a few minutes walk of the plaza Arenal, cathedral and Alcazar fort. The major Sherry bodegas are also all with walking range

Majestuosa la estancia, y el marqués muy simpático y educado
Pros:

Íbamos un grupo de amigos, y a pesar de que no pudimos disfrutarlo mucho porque solo estuvimos por la noche, nos encantó el ambiente principesco del hotel. Las mujeres nos sentíamos como verdaderas princesas allí.

El que no tuviera parking propio, pero que solventamos con un parking público cercano

Het is prima verblijf voor bezoek aan Jerez. Het is een eenvoudig oud hotel zonder voorzieningen. Wel een lekker zwembad
Pros:

De hartelijke ontvangst van de eigenaar. De geweldige ligging in het oude centrum.
Het sfeervolle oude pand.

Cons:

Het zéér klassieke bed was aan de krappe kant.
Bij het prima zwembad zoude wel wat betere lig stoelen kunnen komen.

De locatie van het Palacio midden in het centrum is geweldig.
De optocht van de Semane Santa kwam langs de voor deur.
De tuin en het zwembad zijn mooi, wel wat rommelig met versleten stoelen.

Cons:

Het Palacio behoeft nodig onderhoud en toont verwaarloost. Zó jammer.
Onze kamer was piepklein, zeer ongemakkelijk.

De gehele sfeer van het paleis. Het is echt een beleving met een enthousiaste, attente eigenaar die ook een leuke rondleiding verzorgt tegen een gereduceerde prijs van € 5 p.p.
Verwacht geen hoogstaande luxe, je slaapt in een oud paleis wat ook een museum is.

Unique stay in peaceful historic palacio
Pros:

The deluxe rooms were charming, furnished with antique furniture and paintings, and overlooking the garden. Hence they were quiet and peaceful, you wake to the sound of birds. The mattress was comfortable and the bed sheets were good quality - we slept very well. The bathroom was spacious with a huge claw foot bath, with shower attachment over it. The coffee machine and edible goodies were most appreciated. Lovely to be able to access the garden - the courtyard area looked like a pretty place to relax in if the weather had been better. Alvaro's tour of the main part of the palazzo was really interesting, and he was very communicative and helpful with recommendations.

Cons:

The upkeep of the palacio must be an up-hill struggle, and this is evident in certain areas, including the garden furniture which needs attention - perhaps it's already on the to-do list! The weather wasn't great during our stay so it would have been nice to have had a communal indoor area to relax in (instead of having to be in our rooms) - however I understand that this isn't an easy fix in an old building. Of course, in the warmer months the garden would provide this communal space. Lack of a television in the room wasn't a problem for us, but might be for some. I think a small fridge in the room would be a good idea, especially so in the warmer months. Finally, whilst the room was clean, the picture frames and window shutters were dusty. In summary, this property is not for those who require the comfort and facilities of a modern hotel. Instead it's for those seeking something a little more unique, with all the pros and cons that come with a historic palazzo that has been in the same family for 500 years. Quirky but charming.
