Stunning hotel and service but check out disaster!
Pros:

This is a stunning hotel, the staff are all amazing, especially the butlers that go above and beyond.
The locations and facilities could not be better and the dining options delicious.

Cons:

Unfortunately, after a wonderful stay, I was left disappointed by the check out process - they allowed a later check out by 1 hour but when I arrived to process then check out the team were not ready - they had not updated all my incidentals that I highlighted on the statement. I had to leave so they said they would email me and instead they charged the full room charge again (which had been paid before my arrival). It took 3 emails to get a reply and eventually a refund but at the time of writing this review they still have not replied to my last email trying to settle my account. This has left a negative impression of what was a perfect stay.

Pros:

An exquisite place to stay - perfect in every way.
Pros:

Everything about the property was perfect. The staff were very attentive and just wonderful. The property itself was stunning as were the gardens. A lot of thought has gone into making sure guests have a perfect stay.

Service in der Longbar und der Writers Bar.

Cons:

Das Frühstück.
25 Minuten auf einen Kaffee gewartet.
Dreckiges Besteck.
Besteck wurde nie nachgelegt.
Demgegenüber räumte man Teller ab, während wir noch aßen.

Der Zimmerservice hatte um 16 Uhr unser Zimmer noch nicht gereinigt - erst auf Nachfrage.

6 Star luxury in a 19th Century vintage icon.
Pros:

It is a stunning, vintage hotel. The spirits of Rudyard Kipling, Somerset Maughan , and yet 21st century amenity.Service is in a class of its own. Efficient, but gloriously generous and friendly. The Guest Suites are 100% Luxe and yet exude the charm of yesteryear. We stayed here in 3 Suites for a week as a family vacation and loved every minute. The food is excellent, and the charm of The Tiffin Room and The Courtyard have retained their historical connection.

Cons:

It’s an expensive place to stay. We thought worthwhile.
