Its a beautiful property at a very good location. The hospitality, rooms, staff were excellent and my family had a wonderful stay with the hotel. The hotel is very family friendly and safe for kids as well. Surrounding location is upscale, safe and centre of the city.
Food was just amazing and one of the best Indian food you could find in Nepal. The restaurant staff was wonderful, warm and took excellent care of our family.

Cons:

The day hiking package seemed expensive

A classic hotel with an awesome ambience!
Pros:

The hotel was centrally located but hidden away from the busy city roads. The rooms were clean, spacious and very well furnished. Gardens and facilities were also well maintained and peaceful to walk or just lie by the poolside.

A marvellous hotel in the middle of the city.
Pros:

A marvellous hotel in a central location but surprisingly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busy Kathmandu. The facilities were excellent and breakfast was worth getting up for every day. Sonia, Jhapad, Rajendra and every one in the Spice restaurant should be commended for their unwavering attention to detail and hospitality.

Aruna and her colleagues at reception were also kind and professional.

We had the unfortunate reason to seek medical help in the middle of the night and the staff went to great lengths to arrange for the local doctor to visit our room at night.

The gardens were well maintained and a great place where one can take a stroll and feel safe while doing so.

I will definitely stay here again and will also recommend it to all.

You are missing out on something amazing in your life. This is one of the best hotel in whole of Nepal I say but certainly the best in Kathmandu the spice room restaurant the chimney restaurant the beautiful gardens it cannot get better. Ask for salukram sir

Truly womderful
Pros:

It has been a wonderful experience staying with the hotel. Its a beautiful property with very well done and comfortable rooms. Food is just amazing and we got very well treated by Rajnish, just as a family. Its a great place to stay in Kathmandu.

Best hotel for service category
Pros:

Ever experienced the most here in yak and yeti as I expected where I used to be in different countries including the Nepal the most luxurious hotels where I have notified the best service in yak hotel specially the bar service are the awesome by Sanjib, ismarika, Pratichya and Rikesh they made my stay very memorable. I definitely gonna see you guys again.
