The hotel had a stunning view of the city below and was relatively quiet as it was located outside of the city. The pool was very fun, but quite cold! Even on a hot day, we could only stay in a short time. Yes, the hotel is old/older, but it has its charms. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the room was large. Bathtub was nice and big.
The beds are very uncomfortable and you do need to arrange to get a taxi to go into town each time. Sometimes the wait for a cab can be a bit long, so if you're in a rush it could be inconvenient. Could use more toiletries in the shower/bath

Ubicación y comodidades
Las calles de tránsito vesicular tienen muchos baches y es difícil transitar tanto a pie como en carro. Se sugiere mantenimiento de dichas áreas
The hot water and free transportation to the centro
No elevator
Very small seems like a motel vs a hotel
Все было отлично
Very much enjoyed my stay here as part of a birdwatching group. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The view from the hill is amazing and the shuttle into Oaxaca centro is convenient (though taxis into town are only $6 US). Grounds and pool also very nice. Not luxury level, but comfortable and everything worked just fine. Windows are quite soundproof against high traffic noise during rush hour. The room was also kept very clean.
the location with a great view. the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable.
the furniture and decoration is quite old. it need a good renovation specially in the bathroom. however everything works
the view and quiet ambience
a bit old
La ubicación y su terraza con vistas a la ciudad
La primera habitación asignada tenía mucho ruido de las instalaciones exteriores
Nos cambiaron de habitación al día siguiente
The view from the hotel is really nice and the beds and room were very comfortable. Although the hotel is a bit dated the beds felt new.
It's far from town which is a plus and a minus. It was kind of a pain to go get dinner, but you get used to the walk. The traffic noise was also loud, but we got used to it. You can't sleep with the windows open because of the sound of semis.
I stayed here for 8 nights in the end - wanted a change of scenery from the grimness so headed to the coast.
I booked this place really for the pool - heater has been broken for months / maybe years and that really describes the place - worn down and kinda grim.
I also thought on the map that it was just outside the Centro by crossing a river …. Wrong that river is a busy highway making driving into Centro a pain and lots of road noise from below.
The room was tired with threadbare carpet and no power outlets by the bed - had to run an extension from behind the second bed ….. both queen-size in a king size room ?
No fridge in the room and couldn’t be provided, same for a kettle.
Decor was old and stained with questionable electrics but with a very good shower in the bathroom, really the only redeeming feature.
It strikes me as a bus tour kind of hotel that has given up trying to remain current or relevant - do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere, Centro is stunning with lots of great choices.
I left early and forfeited two nights but was glad I did
