Pros:

The only issue I had was having to pay to park my car in their parking lot, which is owned by that Hampton Inn. A vehicle is what brings your patrons to the facility/hotel. And it would be different if there was a guard or police patrol in the parking lot which there is not.

Cons:

Paying for parking is a big negative.

The word "Great" covers it all!
Pros:

We stay there every year for the Polar Plunge! The staff is fantastic (especially Julia), the property is always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is on point and Elton is great behind the bar! We look forward to being there next year!

Room was clean, shower was great, breakfast was good. We had just come from a very busy Hampton Inn in Roanoke Rapids N
Pros:

Oceanfront location, great shower and good breakfast.

Cons:

Could have been cleaner in common areas. Staff could have been more guest friendly. Disappointed that there was no coffee/tea in the evenings and super annoyed with the $20 + tax parking fee in the winter in an empty parking lot.

Average staff was not helpful when we were trying to get transportation to go to attractions.

We made the best of it and ending up having a great time with each other. Not in the room.
Pros:

We were in Va. beach for my wife's birthday and a concert. During our stay there was a car show on beach walkway and an Air Show that included the Blue Angels.

Cons:

Scheduling stay and paying for it ahead of time got us a 1st floor room across from laundry and boardwalk was 50 feet from patio door with people always walking by. Location of bed was in view if we opened curtains, so they had to stay closed day and night. Asked for a room on higher flr. and were told no but we could have our money back and go somewhere else. Not a great answer or feeling.
