The word "Great" covers it all!
Pros:

We stay there every year for the Polar Plunge! The staff is fantastic (especially Julia), the property is always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is on point and Elton is great behind the bar! We look forward to being there next year!

Oceanfront location, great shower and good breakfast.

Cons:

Could have been cleaner in common areas. Staff could have been more guest friendly. Disappointed that there was no coffee/tea in the evenings and super annoyed with the $20 + tax parking fee in the winter in an empty parking lot.

We made the best of it and ending up having a great time with each other. Not in the room.
Pros:

We were in Va. beach for my wife's birthday and a concert. During our stay there was a car show on beach walkway and an Air Show that included the Blue Angels.

Cons:

Scheduling stay and paying for it ahead of time got us a 1st floor room across from laundry and boardwalk was 50 feet from patio door with people always walking by. Location of bed was in view if we opened curtains, so they had to stay closed day and night. Asked for a room on higher flr. and were told no but we could have our money back and go somewhere else. Not a great answer or feeling.

Average staff was not helpful when we were trying to get transportation to go to attractions.
Cons:

Tables were dirty.Had to really look to find a clean table for breakfast.

Front Desk staff was really nice and welcoming. The breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable

Cons:

Toilet was not seated properly; tub didn't drain very well, but I think that was because they were newly installed. The pool seemed to have a film on top of the waterhad a geat time at this location

I only stayed because my family was staying there. I think there are better deals at other hotels.
Pros:

Breakfast was nice and it was at a good location. Staff was friendly and the free to go bags you'd randomly find at the front desk was nice. Water pressure was amazing as were the beds.

Cons:

Paid parking makes no sense and not being able to pay for the parking via cash. The concierge was slightly annoying by calling our rooms multiple times trying to offer deals. The headboards were dirty and carpet felt old. Also there was no free bottled water in the rooms which should be complimentary.
