I would return to this hotel
Pros:

Spacious and comfortable room, good shower, the staff accommodated our room profile preferences. Excellent location. The gym facilities were to our satisfaction.

Cons:

The safe was broken.

Fazit: Für rund 480 € für zwei Nächte stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier nicht. Gerade mit Kindern und ohne nutz
Pros:

Positiv sind die sehr gute Lage sowie das reichhaltige Frühstück hervorzuheben. Besonders das Personal im Frühstücksbereich war freundlich, aufmerksam und im Gegensatz zur Rezeption auch kinderfreundlich.

Cons:

Beim Check-in wurden wir sehr knapp und wenig engagiert empfangen, wichtige Informationen fehlten komplett. Besonders problematisch: Es wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt, dass der Pool geschlossen ist – obwohl wir das Hotel bewusst wegen des Pools gebucht haben. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern auf Städtetrip, und der Pool sollte am Abend gezielt als Ausgleich dienen. Umso ärgerlicher war es, erst vor Ort in Badekleidung durch ein Schild davon zu erfahren (das zudem ein veraltetes Datum trug).

Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wurden wir zunächst auf den nächsten Tag vertröstet, doch auch dann blieb der Pool geschlossen. Erst nach weiterem Nachhaken erhielten wir die Information, dass Bauarbeiten nach einem Unfall der Grund seien. Die Entschuldigung fiel eher knapp aus, ein Entgegenkommen oder eine kleine Geste – gerade gegenüber den Kindern – blieb komplett aus. Die Aussage, man buche schliesslich das Hotel und nicht den Pool, empfanden wir als unangemessen.

Das Zimmer war eher klein, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und für vier Personen nicht optimal ausgestattet (zu wenig Stauraum). Zudem war die Sauberkeit nicht überzeugend – Haare in der Badewanne und auf dem Kissenbezug der Kinder sind in dieser Preisklasse nicht akzeptabel.

Rude customer service , dirty room , broken lights
Pros:

Very disappointing stay. The room was dirty on arrival and cleaning took a long time. Staff were rude and not helpful, especially at reception. Broken lights made the room dark, and travelling with kids made it even worse. Definitely not the standard expected — would not stay again.
