Mandaron a otro hotel y desde que entras huele a marihuana, y me cambiaron 3 veces de cuarto y la tv nunca funcionó. Un desastre !
Property was not open for service and no emil was sent to me canceling my booking
The hotel was permanently closed and we were not notified before our reservation. We were stuck in a parking lot late at night trying to find another reservation .
My experience was absolutely horrible. Due to a prior hurricane this hotel wasn’t open when I arrived. I had no idea and arrived to closed doors. The day prior I received an email from Expedia stating everything was confirmed and there was no need to call the hotel. Expedia customer service did absolutely nothing to compensate me or help me find another booking and I was left having to find another hotel at midnight. The only thing available was twice what this room cost and 30 minutes away. Expedia didn’t see an issue with this and simply said they weren’t aware the hotel was closed and I wouldn’t be charged by a closed property. I looked on the site and this property is no longer available for bookings, which leads me to believe that Expedia was fully aware that they weren’t open and just were irresponsible and didn’t let me the consumer know. Sitting in a hotel parking lot for an hour chatting with multiple agents who kept getting disconnected to receive absolutely no help is unacceptable. To confirm my booking was secure with a closed hotel was unacceptable. I flew from Philadelphia to Houston and had nowhere to stay. Expedia dropped the ball BIG TIME and I still haven’t received the slightest bit of sympathy or any type of compensation for my inconvenience.
This property was closed. I found out on arrival via Uber at 1am since my flight was delayed 4 hours and it was after their designated free shuttle times. I’m still waiting for Orbitz to refund me. But the stress of the ordeal should be compensated as well. Beware! Do not book here.
Power was off and couldn’t even check in
Terrible hotel was booked through Expedia. Hotel was closed. No other options were available. We had to pay for taxis from and too the airport. And spend the night at airport. If we were younger it would not have been a problem, we are Seniors and not a good trip!!!
When I got to the hotel there was a sign that said 'CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE". I NEED TO GET A REFUND OF THE COST OF THE MOTEL!!!!
Pretty scary tbh. The lock in the room was broken, the elevator was broken, we were on the third floor and the stairs were not lit. When we walked in the lobby smelled like weed and the breakfast was stale at best.
They did not communicate that there was no power before we went.
Expedia rented out one of the 4 remaining rooms despite the hotel NOT having power. The whole reason we rented a room was to have somewhere to stay with AC after losing power the morning Hurricane Beryl came through. Will be disputing the charge with my CC company.
This poperty was very old a had minimal maintenance. we left the hotel to stay some where that had ac and mattresses that were not 25 years old and the hotel would not give a refund.....Stay away

Was a little late for the check in but I had no problems and the room was kept for me. Staff was helpful and I see an improvement over the last few times at least for the big room, with jacuzzi. Things definitely going in the right direction and the efforts are paying off.
One of the guests on my floor lit his room on fire. The fire alarm went off at 7am. Woke everyone up, the fire dept came but the employees said there was nothing wrong and the fire dept left without even looking. Then they called the police to get the guest out. But they didn’t even go up and see since they said he was going to check out in an hour. unbelievable !!
I was visiting from out of town staying there the first day I got there got in the room slipped and fell hit my head on the sink and they just gave me towels for the floor the second day I wake up to take a shower soon as I step in my whole body folded in the tub and my head hit the toilet at this point I had medical attention come check me out when I asked for managers number or if she can call the manager I was told I’m busy and it’s not my fault that you fell and totally ignored me then the police was called and I was put out because I voiced my opinion on how I felt I was being treated and they never gave me my money back they didn’t care about anything just the money

The décor was from the 80s and in pretty bad shape. The carpets were filthy with big giant stains. The bed was very nice and comfortable. The bar was not open and the restaurant across the parking lo did serve any mixed drinks. The breakfast selections were extremely limited and there was no transportation available when I arrived at the airport.
Lights went off while I was staying at this location
We were there the night of the terrible storm on 5/16/24 - no power, no internet, no landline phones. The hotel attendant that night was outside in her car on the phone trying to get help. She couldn't check us in or help us so we went back to the airport and sat there all night. The hotel will not refund our money nor answer the phone. Joann specifically has denied us any compansation.
