I wanted to take a moment to genuinely compliment the host staff. On my first day, the heat had been switched on instead of the AC, and Jevania did an amazing job helping to get everything sorted quickly. I also needed to extend my stay by an extra day, and the staff were incredibly helpful in making that process easy and stress-free.
Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and I would absolutely recommend staying here. While the pizza from the bar wasn’t my favorite, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby, which more than made up for it. 😊
The Omni Astin has been a staple in our group for meetings, they are very helpful and they will try to accommodate you as much as possible. They are a great place to have meetings and go out and have fun too.
We found dead cockroaches in our living room. The heat didn't work well at all. The staff was great, but the hotel is very dated and not what I expected based on other Omni's I've stayed at.
I stayed at the premiere club level. The food in the lounge was bare bones at most. It was very limited in quantity, very limited selection, and hot food was warm to cold most of the time. One afternoon they forgot to put out the daily afternoon snacks, one morning the coffee machine didn't work because it needed cleaning.
I had issues with no hot water every morning and my room key stopped working several times during my stay.
Hotel was beautiful. Room was large and decor was very nice. Hotel staff, front desk, bar, valet were friendly and willing to assist with places to eat, guidance with points of interest. Food at the bar was very good.
$60 a night valet plus tax.
I know it's the city but it seemed excessive. I had a knee injury so we used the car a few times. Tipping both in and out got costly.
The hotel atrium is attached to an office building which is interesting. However, the doors on that side of the atrium are locked on weekends.
Amazing staff, clean rooms, and overall an excellent place to stay . The restaurant and bar are top notch. Great food and excellent bar tenders. The club house on the top floors serves delicious breakfast options and a happy hour that is out of this world
The balcony and hoe clean everything was .
No complaints!
From the valet and front facing staff to the restaurant servers, everyone was so very nice.
This Omni was great. We have stayed at many Omni properties, and this one was just as good as the others! The room was very clean and comfortable. All the food was great and the bar drinks were even better. Great location for walking to other downtown attractions and venues. We will definitely be back for leisure, as this was a business trip.
Location, large room. Bed was comfortable. Staff kind.
I couldn’t get on the internet
One of my new favorite places to stay in Austin. I had my first stay here in December. The hotel was quiet during the holiday period, but I didn't mind. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Austin.
Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional, from check-in to breakfast to the bar. They made my stay even more enjoyable.
The room was fairly standard. Nothing to complain about and it was well maintained and clean. However, housekeeping never seemed to stop by, despite me taking down the "do not disturb" sign before 11am. I was only there for a few days, so I didn't mind going without housekeeping, but this was my only issue during my stay.
I booked with Amex Fine Hotel & Resorts, which included daily breakfast for two and a $100 property credit. Both were easy to use and automatically applied to my account at checkout.
Parking was a bit expensive but standard for downtown hotels, but I ended up using a public lot a block away which was much cheaper.
The hotel is beautiful and plentiful--the services for the handicapped are not. The bathroom is not equipped for people with mobility issues (in-shower chair not available-and a temporary, that was the incorrect height to make it effective, was brought in. I appreciate the customer service and can do attitude, but the ammenities were lacking. The hotel is beautiful and smells so pleasant, but trying to take a shower, leave the bathroom to enter the suite and go to the bathroom were a daily challenge.
