Great location in Austin. Front desk staff were so kind and welcoming, and never steered us wrong with a recommendation. The room, pool, and gym were very clean and relaxing. Loved our stay, we will be back again.
I was honestly blown away by the service I experienced at the Austin OMNI. Every single staff member I had interactions with over my 3 day stay was so pleasant, helpful and overall made my stay so much better.
They obviously have done a great job with training their staff to care and watch for little ways they can surprise & delight their guests.
A+ from this Canadian!
Lage ist perfekt ! Vom Flughafen mit Bus super zu erreichen ! Besser gehts nicht !
Die Kaffeautomaten beim Frühstück sind leider nur für den Hausgebrauch , hier müssen Profigeräte her !
Ambiance and location were exceptional! It's near the heart of Austin, walkable to the Texas State Capitol and buildings, UT Austin, anf downtown.
Omni Austin charged my card $568.98 after checkout based on an allegation I dispute. The hotel claimed there was smoking inside the guest room and added a separate damage charge, but charged my card before providing photos, an inspection report, timestamped documentation, an access timeline, or proof tying the alleged condition to my stay.
A hotel should not make a post-checkout accusation, automatically charge the guest, and then make the guest chase the evidence afterward. I disputed the charge immediately and requested the supporting documentation.
Whatever the stay was before that, this completely destroyed my trust in the property and its post-departure process.
Good staff speacilly front desk and vallet. Good overall customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel weather for persoanl or buisness
Overall had a good experience.
Check in was easy and the staff was friendly, which always sets the tone right from the start. The lobby has clearly been recently renovated and looks really nice. It feels fresh and updated, and it’s a comfortable place to hang out or grab a quick coffee. The hotel did a pretty extensive renovation not too long ago, which shows in the common areas.
The rooms seem to have been updated as well. Nothing over the top, but clean, functional, and comfortable. They have a modern look to them with updated finishes, but still pretty straightforward overall.
Location is solid. It’s right in downtown Austin and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and things to do, which makes it convenient if you want to explore the city without relying too much on rides. I like to walk so what I may think is close may not be close to someone else.
That said, just be mindful of your surroundings, especially at night. There seemed to be a lot of homeless folk congregating in the area (not specifically around the hotel), but something to be aware of if you’re walking around.
Overall, it’s a good option if you want to be in the middle of everything. Clean, updated, and convenient. Just go in knowing the location comes with a bit of energy around it.
- horrible customer service minus 1-2 people
- wrong order to room
- repeated 3 times the same request to room service
- unfriendly & unwelcoming hosts
- pool was cold and very small
- reported water spill to security, she made me swipe it myself
