This review is for a booking that this hotel management would not even honor when I went to check The manager forced me to pay another nightly rate without explanation directly with them and have not given me a refund, despite my proactive communication with their teams throughout this entire situation.

I had an emergency leak at my apartment in the middle of the night (I live up the street) and booked a room for the night online. When I come to check in, the night manager was extremely rude, would not accept my valid and prepaid through booking.com, would not give me any reason and made me pay for another one directly with her if I wanted a room for the night. She was treating me like I was a criminal and all I wanted was a place to rest. It was something like 4am at the time and so I just did what I had to, so I could go to bed.

The first room she puts me in is completely flooded, so I come down to her desk and she says she is fully booked and isn't acknowledging that I'm just trying to go to bed and this is all ridiculous. I did not make this an issue as I was exhausted. She then magically finds a room, I go to sleep and got out of there first thing in the morning. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. I travel constantly for my job and I have never once written a review like this- but this was next level insane treatment.

Bad staff experience but great outside of that
Pros:

Loved the location and cleanliness of it all! It was very convenient and comfortable overall! Also, fantastic breakfast!

Cons:

The night staff was absolutely horrible. It was our wedding night and we did not see the buzzer by the door to get in so we knocked. The lady up front was immediately and consistently rude to us to the point we considered canceling our reservation. It was a horrible experience with absolutely no reason to be that unprofessional.

I like that the property was clean. It was easy to get to the parking lot into the building it has a bus route right in front of it and it also has a Starbucks connected to the lobby area.

Cons:

There was not much that I did not like about the property. We did have trouble checking in. I went around to both of the doors and neither of them would open so we had to call the property and I was put on hold for a very long time when we finally made our way in. It took a long time to check in.

The parking situation. It’s a parking lot across the street from the hotel, not close enough for me but it might be ok for someone else!
