Great stay, great room, great staff. All you need close by.
Pros:

Great room, incredible location! Easy to walk the french quarter from here. Breakfast was easy to decide. The Ruby Slipper every morning, our favorite in the city for breakfast was right next door. Staff was super friendly. Will be coming back definitely.

Cons:

Room service was a little hard to locate and coordinate.

Nice hotel, but due to several shortcomings, I will stay elsewhere next time.
Pros:

The hotel vibe was nice and different from other hotels I have stayed at in the area. The lobby was nice and cozy and my room was adequate and true to its description online.

Cons:

There was hardly any hot water and I had to take a cold shower 2 of the 3 days I was there. That sucked. All three mornings I was woken up before 8am hearing all the showers and/or running water from rooms above me. The last night before I left a group came in (sounded like they were staying on the floor above mine), about 3:30-4am and I could hear everything. It took them over an hour to stop talking, moving things around, showering, running the sink etc. I had to get up at 7am for my flight so that sucked. It was unfortunate because otherwise the hotel very extremely quiet and relaxing. Very unique hotel. I didn't mind there was no restaurant or bar, that front desk staff hours were limited, that depending which way you walked out from the hotel it was either safe or not so safe. But having not hot water for showers and hearing everyone else's showers and running water will keep me from rebooking this hotel again.

Welcoming hotel
Pros:

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Front desk was available all night and were very nice during stay. Valet 24 hrs.

Cons:

King suite was not sound proof… but it wasn’t loud at any point during stay.

No windows in the room was of concern to me,especially not finding out to after arriving at the hotel.. also the lighting in the room was not good.. no grab bar in the shower, all guest are not the same age.

Will never go back.
Pros:

After the checkout, they stored our luggage and personal belongings so we can go walk around and explore before we headed back home

Cons:

Felt like a prison. No window at the room #402, bathroom seemed outdated (the one in the lobby for the public use seemed better) and had the towel rack right above the toilet (which is disgusting. Who wants to use the towel that’s hanging where people pee and poop?) and took 5 mins for the hot water to come on for shower

Hotel full of charm - a comfortable stay
Pros:

The old world charm - lovely lobby - comfy beds and fabulous shower. Front desk host was charming too

Cons:

Nothing wrong with the hotel but while we were having brunch in Ruby Slipper a mouse ran under our table. Staff in there were also less friendly and very slow

Cons:

This is a very minor nitpick but there are times where valet parking can be a bit backed up and quite slow. This isn't a complaint, everyone gets rush times but there were some times where we were waiting longer than what might be considered average. Plan ahead so that you can call before you need your car and you'll be good to go
