Windowless clean room.
Pros:

It was clean and modernized. It was near the street car pick up headed to French Quarter. It was near the Ferry pick up for a trip to Algiers. It was walking distance to Bourbon street.

Cons:

I did not like that our room was an interior room with no window. We were not given that option to another room. It felt very claustrophobic and the bathroom was very small.

We always come for Mardi Gras and this hotel is the best we have ever stayed at. We will be back every year.

Tired and Smelly
Pros:

Good for short stays. I would not pay more than $120 - 130 per night. The location is good, but the rooms are dark, filthy carpet, (I was afraid to walk in my socks), mildew smell, the elevators even smelled. The bedding was decent, but overall you can tell management doesn't invest any money into maintenance or updates. The front desk clerks were pleasant.

Pros:

Close to the Ruby Slipper restaurant and Bourbon Street. Only 5 or 10 minute walk from most things you wanted to see.

Cons:

There was a column in the room at the end of one of the beds and if you weren't careful at night you would run into it and hurt yourself. There were no chest of drawers to put your stuff in, which is okay if you can live out of your suitcase.
