Clean , location
Water inaccessible need larger cups
Nice, clean room and the old New Orleans vibe from the time you enter the hotel. We were in walking distance of the best restaurants and a two minute walk to the pickup for the swamp tour (which was so much fun!) and the Hop On Hop Off bus (so much fun!) This is the ideal location for anyone visiting New Orleans. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.
I loved everything about our stay! No complaints!
The location was perfect and walking distance to the French Quarter and the Aquarium. The hotel was very charming and had a unique decor. The beds were very comfortable.
The water pressure was on the lighter side. The bed had a piece of metal sticking out the side between the two beds and we kept hitting our shins on it. Otherwise, the loved the hotel.
- Quiet
- Near everything walking distance
- Boutique historical building
- Clean towel service every day by request
- The front doors to the hotel are always locked at all times
- Coffee service in the lobby
- The one gentleman staff member would not accommodate a taxi ride for my son back to his hotel near the airport. They indicated they would only accommodate airport rides.
- Would not accommodate a late checkout, not even an hour without an up charge of $40 $50-$60
- The refrigerator temperature was not consistent and very old
- The water temperature was not consistent.
- Hotel room could be cleaner lots of dust.
- Coffee cups leak consistently had an incident in the taxi and leaked everywhere had another incident in the hotel leaking
- Not all of the staff was that pleasant to approach
Close to cruise ship docks; nice area to walk around; pretty central.
Can’t think of a thing
Location
Could be more clean
Convience, Room was clean and the ambiance in the room was greats
Good location but quite
Could hear the room next door
Great location, not far from bourbon street, yet it was also lowkey & away from all the action in case you wanted a quiet place that’s slightly off the grid.
Parking is terrible, unfortunately we were forced to use valet because they have limited street parking, & the paid lots near by are either FULL or too far of a walk from the hotel.
Location was excellent, very walkable to the French Quarter and easy access to transit as well. The staff were all lovely and I appreciated the extra effort to create an updated bulletin with upcoming city events for visitors.
The room was not as clean as it could've been. I noticed a few piles of dust in the corners/around the beds. The bathroom also did not have a ventilation fan.
location
rooms were small and smelled musty
Booked this hotel for a girls trip. Was the best balance of price, accommodations, location. The staff was pleasant, the rooms were clean. It was less than 10 minutes from all major areas yet the block itself was quiet. Plenty of space, beds were comfortable, fridge was spacious. Greeted with the radio playing jazz. There is no bar on premises, but you can purchase wines, beers and buzzballs at the front desk. It is also attached to a Ruby Slippers for breakfast and lunch options. We arrived early and was able to leave our bags to explore and eat. Same with our departure, we left later than originally planned and was able to leave our luggage secured while we ventured out for our last hours.Would definitely stay again for any future Nola visits.
