Pros:

The location was marvelous. It’s right near downtown and shopping Central to freeways so you could get every anywhere you wanted easily.

Cons:

Not having a chair in the room was very uncomfortable for this 94 year old lady. Otherwise my stay was fine

Cons:

Automatic charge me for parking fee without asking, I was dropped off and picked up-No need for parking but got charge by default.
For the nightly rate for single occupancy of $289.00 (+ tax), the quality of breakfast food should be better.

Terrible
Pros:

The breakfast was decent.

Cons:

The booking.com website clearly advertises, that this location (Holiday Inn La Mesa), would have a bathtub or shower option available for the room I booked. Upon arrival, I was told that that wasn't the case. Only ADA rooms had bathtubs and none were available.

My son had a 7on7 Football Tournament at San Diego St. and we wanted a bathtub so he could soak in Epson salt after a long day of football.

Also, we complained about the neighboring room that had dogs barking all day and night of our stay. When we asked to get a joining room with my father in law to get away from the barking dogs next door, they said that there was no availability as well.

Overall the stay was unpleasant and I do not plan on staying there again or using Booking.com as the property blamed you guys for the misinformation from being a 3rd party.
