Geweldig uitzicht
Pros:

We hadden een kamer
geboekt met boszicht( goedkoper) maar kregen een kamer met het mooiste uitzicht over het meer en de besneeuwde toppen.
Kamer was prachtig, groot en een heerlijke douche.
Ontbijt was heerlijk en we kregen een heerlijke proseco aangeboden.Gratis bus naar het centrum voor de deur.

Paid too much to be this hot
Pros:

I expected more from this hotel especially for the price. We had 2 rooms. The triple room was ok but small. The double room was so hot. No fan was provided for that room even though I asked. The lobby was very nice & it’s across from the river but a little far from the main part of town. The rooms need updating.

Too much for a basic room, not very close to town, with no a/c & no fan.

Cons:

Die Preise passen nicht zu der Leistung. 300.- für ein kleines Hotelzimmer OHNE Klimaanlage. Die Kissen waren knotig und es gab keine Kosmetikartikel (Watte usw.) Der Lift ist zu klein und im Bad blätterte der Verputz von den Wänden.

Great place to stay in Lucerne.
Pros:

Great location, close to Lucerne city center. Amazing staff. Daniel who was at the reception waited beyond his normal hours to receive us and help us with the check in. Huge thanks to him as well.

A suffocating sauna with 0 customer care
Cons:

I recently stayed at this hotel while pregnant, expecting a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, due to the building’s layout and positioning, the rooms create a literal greenhouse effect, turning into a suffocating sauna from early spring to late autumn. Because the hotel does not have air conditioning, the temperature inside was unbearable from the moment I arrived.
To make matters worse, a loud event was hosted on-site during my specific stay. The hotel’s defense is that the lack of A/C is stated online and that the event was communicated in advance. However, they completely omitted the crucial detail that the blasting noise would continue throughout the night.
Because the property is right on the lake and the windows lack screens (mosquito nets), I was trapped in an impossible situation: either close the windows and suffocate in the heat, or open them and be exposed to deafening noise and an influx of midges and spiders (as documented in my photos).
As a result, I spent a completely sleepless, miserable night. When I raised these serious comfort issues the next morning, management showed a disappointing lack of empathy. They refused a fair reimbursement, offering only to refund the CHF 15 parking fee (which I hadn't even fully utilized)—a token gesture representing less than 5% of the total nightly rate.
Between the structural lack of ventilation and a total disregard for guest well-being, I cannot recommend this hotel.
