L'hôtel est très bien situé en face du lac des quatre cantons à la périphérie de la ville de Lucerne.Avec une vue excellente sur le lac et les montagnes. Il y a un restaurant au rez-de-chaussée avec de très bons menus.Et la chambre était très confortable avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. Avec bouilloire et tasses pour faire un thé ou un café en chambre. Et il y a un parking très pratique juste à côté. Le petit déjeuner était très bon avec beaucoup de choix.

Cons:

Vue sur le parking, pas de climatisation, petit parking (payant), pas de concierge après 22h.
La moquette dans les couloirs est particulièrement vétuste (et trouée), notre chambre était petite, avec du vieux mobilier, pas de climatisation et seulement un ventilateur. La salle de bain est à rénover, les joints sont noirs, la cuvette des toilettes également.

Disappointing
Pros:

Very disappointing stay at Hotel Seeburg.

The room was extremely small and untidy, with no air conditioning and only a small pedestal fan. We booked accommodation for three people, yet the hotel would not even provide an additional fan despite our request.

The beds were well below basic standards, and the overall comfort of the room was poor. We seriously considered moving to another hotel, even though it would have meant losing money, because the experience was so unpleasant.

It was a very disappointing way to start our trip in Switzerland. Fortunately, every other hotel we stayed at in Switzerland and throughout the rest of Europe was excellent.

For a hotel charging over $600 per night, this was easily the worst hotel experience we have ever had. The only positive aspect was the location. However, there are many other accommodation options along the lake that offer far better value and facilities.

I would not recommend Hotel Seeburg. Very expensive, poor facilities, and far below expectations. Extremely disappointed

Resepsjonen var stilig! Frokosten var ok. Rommet var greit.

Cons:

Bestilte dobbelseng, fikk to enkeltsenger. Det var veldig varmt, og rommet var ubeskrivelig varmt. Savnet klimaanlegg. Ville foretrukket dusjkabinett, fremfor dusjforheng som klistrer seg inntil når man dusjer.

Pros:

The hotel was clean and modern, looks like it has recently had some renovation. The view is superb and the location excellent (which is why I chose it) being near the edge of Lucerne and therefore easy to get to by car. Parking is also available and since we were on a car tour and both had nice cars, this was important. Our host was also very friendly and polite.

Cons:

Sadly, our room didn't have air conditioning, during the heatwave at the time, we arrived to our room late in the evening and the room was incredibly hot. As we only stayed for one night, we made do- but it was uncomfortable. I think this could have been improved if the staff had left the door to the balcony open to allow some airflow before we arrived. The price was expensive, however thats what you get in Switzerland sadly. Breakfast was ok. The out of hours check-in process was complex and rather time consuming. I dont know if this was the fault of Booking.com or the hotel, but we arrived very late and tired, having driven across France. We then needed to find a code to let us into the hotel, I searched through my emails without success, thankfully the manager was present and opened up for us. We then had to proceed to enter our information into a touch screen system that was both frustrating and time consuming, when all we really wanted to do was go to bed.
