Toyoko Inn Odawara Station

The bed was really hard and uncomfortable. The noise from the other guests was unacceptable and staff could not control this. Breakfast was a free for all and there was rarely food prepared and available. Having to wait long delays for food and a seat. The food area was also in the laundry area which was uncomfortable watching people do laundry whilst eating. Really poor experience for the cost of the accommodation and service provided.

Breakfast was ok. I missed some cereal and fresh fruit but is ok. Was very clean. The staff was just very kind. Didn’t smell strange. All room are very clean and well ventilated. Would stay again.

Very good price and convient if you would like to stay and explore Hakone area

The hotel is loccated close to Odawara Station which is very convenient, however, the hotel is quite worn down and as soon as we entered the room, there was a quite strange smell, we had to open the window to let it air out a bit. The hotel has very limited carpark spots, you can park elsewhere with discounted price (1000 Yen), however you will need to enter after 3pm and leave before 10am next day (we were charged 3000 Yen for leaving after 11am). The carpet in the room was not the cleanest and felt sticky at some spots, the bedsheet also had stains on it. It is quite disappointing given that all other hotels we stayed in Japan were quite good.

I recently stayed at the hotel, while several aspects of the experience were satisfactory, I feel it's important to address a significant issue that affected my stay: the misleading claim of "free parking available."

Prior to booking, one of the key reasons I chose this hotel was the advertised free parking. Upon arrival, I found that although the hotel had its own parking lot with visible empty spaces, guests were not allowed to park there. Instead, I was directed to use an external paid parking facility.

This external parking came with a "discount," but it was still not free, as advertised. Furthermore, the parking ticket only allowed a **single exit**, which is highly inconvenient for guests who may need to use their vehicle more than once during their stay.

This felt deceptive and left a negative impression. If the hotel does not offer actual free parking to guests, it should not advertise it as such. A more honest description would help travelers make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary frustration.

I hope the hotel updates its policies or at least clarifies its parking terms to reflect reality. Transparency is key to trust.

This is a smoking hotel. Our room and the hallway had a very strong cigarette smell. When we asked to move the front desk told us all rooms were smoking. Also the beds were extremely hard.

Unfortunately booked a smoking room by mistake and unable to change. Room had a strong smell of smoke. Good breakfast and rooms comfortable

Looks like we can never get parking on site- that’s the only negative

Good spread of breakfast. A to go container is a great idea and bonus.

Bed is just right, not too firm and not to soft.

Food was not tasty, but employees were well trained.

今回、3箇所同じ条件で東横INNホテルに泊まりましたが、どこも駅から近くて清潔。
ただ小田原が一番狭かったです。
でも朝食に小田原おでんやかまぼこがあるなど特色があり、美味しかったです。

Great budget hotel right beside the train station. Rooms are small but clean and nice.

All was perfect

Stuff is very nice and helpful. I had issue with my booking. The staff was able to resolve it for me. Free breakfast is really good. Our family enjoyed staying at the hotel. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 start is the beds are pretty hard. If you are someone who likes harder bed, you will enjoy the hotel more.

The hotel is at a nice location in Odawara. Close to the Odawara station and restaurants. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They work hard to help your stay be an enjoyable visit.

Nice and clean rooms with firm beds. Excellent breakfast included. Had a good stay with family before heading into Hakone the next morning.

아늑했고, 아침메뉴가 너무 맛있었어요. 아주 친절하셨고, 기차역에서도 가깝고. 조용했습니다. 너무 만족스러운 2박3일이었습니다.
