The bed was comfortable, room layout was a little.Weird
Toilet overflowed at 6 AM in the morning, went to the front desk. Could not get me any sort of plunger said they couldn't help me till 10 AM not very well-thought-out to be able to help a customer
Person at the front desk said, well. I don't know what to tell you, miss will. Meanwhile, I don't have a toilet. What would you do if it overflowed all the way to stand here? Look at me, no, we would give you towels. Needless to say I was not very happy. But I could not use my toilet when I've paid good money for a room.
The location was in close proximity to the I-15. There were several shopping plazas in close proximity to the location, which made for ease of purchasing products needed for my trip.
The "kitchenette" was a little small for a multi-day stay. Was more just a refrigerator and a microwave.
This location was so clean and the view from my room was so beautiful!
The front desk was MIA most of the time. After a few minutes they’d come from the back but no one was ever really present the entire time I stayed there
It was comfy and the space was nice, everything was clean and roomy.
The pool seemed a bit rundown,
Could use more attention outside or a hot tub even. Breakfast wasn’t amazing.
Very friendly and helpful staff; nice large lobby with lots of comfortable seating areas; good sized room; comfortable bed; good air-con; very nice gym; lots of power outlets; fairly quiet room was nice; breakfast was very good/plenty of choices; laundry was very good/credit card pay; wifi was good; location was great. We'll return.
Really minor and not all that necessary but since you asked: soft close lid for toilet would be nice; curtains or shades that really close properly to block out light; luggage rack; bigger trash bins (eg. someone left a few bags of their trash meals in the elevator area); an extra couple blankets would be helpful if not using heat all night; the sliding window at the desk is opaque (that separates the bed area from the lounge area) and that doesn't help block the light when someone is in the bed - might be worth having that as a solid sliding "window".
The breakfast buffet offered a variety of hot and cold items; the scrambled eggs were awful - watery and tasteless. Not what I expect of Marriott. But the dining area was bright and pleasant, and there were numerous food choices. We liked the spaciousness of our room, the desk and couch. The bed was quite comfortable which is good since we spent several nights here. The staff was generally very pleasant.
I didn't like paying for parking; and I was surprised by that. I did not recall that such an extra was prominently displayed on the booking site. We asked for housekeeping one morning and were promised that it would be taken care of; only to return that evening and realize nothing had been done or refreshed. Granted, it was Christmas week, but still, we expect better from a hotel bearing the Marriott brand. We did not like the limited seating at actual tables in the breakfast area. We were relegated to short backless stools and a low cocktail one morning; and zero eggs left on another.
The staff was incredibly helpful, both before my stay and during. Best customer service experience I have had in probably years. I apologize for not remembering specific names, but every person I worked with was great!! Thank you!
The phone was broken in one room (but when staff were notified they got to work on it). The walls are quite thin, there was a crying baby and loud toddler in the room next door and it was like they were in the room. BUT, the staff was incredibly understanding and ended up moving us within minutes!
