Hotel Indigo - Winston-Salem Downtown by IHG

I loved the cleanliness , how quiet it was and how friendly the staff was ! 10/10 stay

Breakfast was good. Breakfast included in the tariff is not true. you have a bonus for 20$ per room, totally different. Staff is very kind, very educate and solve any problem you have with a smile.

Exceptional and new facility, with a very central location and pristine rooms.

The hotel is not bad and very chic. However, the parking lot for the hotel is two blocks away. If you arrive at any time following sunset, you will have to lug your things two blocks, in the dark, to the hotel. If arriving at night, you are almost forced to do valet parking at $30 a day. Lastly, please keep in mind that the valet, forgot about me once I requested my car, not only through the app, but also speaking with him to get added to the car return list. When confronted, he seemed as though he had forgotten that I was waiting, could not find my keys and stated that someone else had went to grab my keys. About 10 minutes later, while I'm watching, he finds my keys and then frantically goes to get my car. I waited for my car for over an hour just because he forgot. The hotel is nice, but parking was not considered, and valet does not seem to know what they are doing. Beware!!!

This is now my very favorite hotel. The hotel was fantastic! If you are a pet lover, then this is your hotel! The staff were incredibly kind. The cleanliness was fantastic. The atmosphere was artsy, comforting, fun, and just really impressive I will be coming back to this hotel many many times. I am going to join this hotel business as a member if possible again I can’t give it any bigger thumbs up.

The rooms and service at the Indigo hotel are very good. Especially when considering the typical price and comparing with the nearby Kimpton.

The Indigo is definitely my go to hotel in Winston-Salem.

High quality comfortable beds and linens, AC/TV/Wifi that works very well; and professional service from all the HOTEL* staff that I interacted with.

* I have a separate review for the onsite restaurant 'Sir Winston Wine Loft & Restaurant' where service didn't go as planned !

What is also worth noting, when/if there is a problem with your stay, the owners & management at the Indigo hotel are attentive and committed to resolving the problem for their customer.

Give this hotel a try the next time you are in Winston-Salem !

great location in Winston and the room was nice.

OK hotel for the price. The inside looks good, but they need to do something about the interior of the building, it looks really creepy from the back. The cleaning staff needs to make sure the entire room is clean (the table was sticky and with visible spills; they should vacuum more carefully). Reception staff was very nice and helpful.

This is an amazing property! I would highly recommend Hotel Indigo when visiting the Winston-Salem area. It is centrally located and in a highly walkable area. If you choose not to valet park your car, there is a very inexpensive garage one block away by the bus station. The staff understand good customer service and were always friendly and helpful. My room was perfect and beautifully decorated. This is now my "go to" hotel when visiting the Winston-Salem area!

Beautiful property and so close to great places to eat and hang out. Loved our stay!
