Guests are advised the same card that was used to make the booking will be required to take the payment.

Pets are welcome - there is a £15 per pet per stay supplement. Also a £100 damage deposit is required at check in- this is returned at check out - minus the £15 supplement & and any damage.

Pets are welcome to be in your room, bar & lounge areas - pets are not permitted in the main restaurant.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

If an extra bed is required please call The Angel Hotel to confirm. Subject to availability.

The entire hotel is non-smoking - any evidence of smoking in the room will result in a £250 fine.

The Angel Hotel Cardiff is exceptional.
Pros:

The reception staff provided a brilliant and warm welcome.

Cons:

The breakfast was lovley. And thr staff demonstrated exceptional service in accommodating my guide dog.

Window couldn't open and close, no net curtain and view of 3 lots of rubbish+ A man looking round the litter and bins in the early hours.

Location was excellent as right in the town center

Cons:

Not clean, urine on the toilet seat upon arrival, hotel needs a serious injection of life, breakfast was awful it looked like a pack of wolves had attacked everything, cereal everywhere, no yoghurt left, fruit was tinned , no cups,large plates or tea spoons! I didn’t eat anything, asked for a refund for breakfast that I hasn’t consumed as there was slim pickings by 9:15 and refused as I hadn’t booked direct, also made them aware of the room cleanliness being well below par and just an apology nothing else he couldn’t see me out the door fast enough! Never will I return. £214 wasted.

Excellent location. Friendly helpful staff. A good size room. Good food.

The thinness of the walls in our room 128. The conversation in the adjacent room 130 was very loud.

I have previously stayed at this hotel and had a beautiful room however this stay was very different

No hotel carpark although advertised.
Room was old, in need of upgrading. Facilities old.
Noisy floor boards that rattled when other guest moved around same floor as your room.
Room had damp in corners
Curtains hanging off rail
No heating in room just a portable radiator.
Breakfast wasn't anything special, very greesy and not alot of variety
