Pets are welcome - there is a £15 per pet per stay supplement. Also a £100 damage deposit is required at check in- this is returned at check out - minus the £15 supplement & and any damage.
Pets are welcome to be in your room, bar & lounge areas - pets are not permitted in the main restaurant.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Got a free upgrade as hotel was quiet, receptionist were excellent. Room clean and comfortable, the breakfast was top shelf 👌. Pre book on this app and get it for 10 quid.
Could not open windows
Nice friendly staff and good central location.
The Angel is rather tired, and sad given its former glory days. Only one of the two lifts was working, and on one day neither worked. The hotel needs a lot of investment, bit the prices reflect that and the friendly staff make up for the buildings shortcomings. Good VFM.

Extremely poor experience and one of the worst hotel stays we’ve had. While the location was good and the hotel itself was quiet, the overall stay was badly let down by serious issues with the room. We returned to find no heating, there was no hot water, the TV was faulty, and there was a leak in the hallway that raised genuine safety concerns. The atmosphere felt flat and unwelcoming, and the amenities were poor.
Despite raising these problems, the hotel refused to offer a proper resolution and instead suggested only a small discount on a future stay. A room with basic failures like heating and hot water is simply not fit for purpose. Very disappointing handling of the situation and not somewhere we would choose to stay again. The location was head and miss depending where you wanted to go in the city.

We have stayed at the Angel a few times before. Great location and great, friendly, helpful staff.
Our room was large but was very dated. The lift was not working and there was a bucket in the hallway with a massive leak. The breakfast was ok for what we paid but the cooked breakfast had been sitting for a while.
