Very very comfortable, great location, great comfy toilet, beautiful marina around and s stunning dramatic bridge, close to Nampo and many restaurants, very substantial breakfast, amazing views and the rooftop cafe at sunset is a gem. Our best hotel of the trip. We'll miss it. Probably, the best location possible, because the sights are scattered anyway, you can't hit them all with one location. But at least here the hotel view is magical and the shopping mall is close, as well as bars and restaurants.

Cons:

Air conditioning is a bit difficult to control. The buttons wouldn't change the temperature, and it was not very user friendly. We would either turn it off completely or keep it on.

L hôtel est très bien placé et le top c est la vue. Un peu vieillissant et peu rénové, par exemple un trou dans le plafond de la chambre.... le service est vraiment pas au niveau d un hôtel 4 étoiles. Pas toujours d accueil sauf à la réception. Le petit déjeuner et le bar sont juste pressé de fermer tôt et partir... le bar par exemple ferme à 22h et tous les jours ils changent d horaire on a eu des fermetures à 21h30. Pour un bar hôtel 21h30 c est complètement ridicule!

Die Lage und der tolle Hafenblick. Großes Zimmer, Schreibecke und sehr bequeme Betten!

Cons:

Dusche und Toilette sind ohne Abtrennung nebeneinander in einem Raum, das ist sehr unpraktisch. Nach dem Duschen ist die Toilette nass und nicht mehr nutzbar. Eine Badeteppich hatten wir von drei Tagen nur einmal.

1 star experience at 4 star prices.
Pros:

Breakfast was one of the few positives: the food was plentiful and hot, and the staff in the dining area were genuinely friendly and helpful. However, even this experience was marred by the excessive wait time just to enter the restaurant. The queue stretched down the corridor and around the corner—completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level.

Cons:

Our stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing and far below expectations given its advertised star rating and price point. Quite simply, it is hugely overpriced for what it offers.

One of the most immediate frustrations was the lifts, which took an eternity to arrive. This became especially problematic during peak times—trying to get to breakfast, leaving the dining area, or even checking out, turned into a drawn-out ordeal. Unfortunately, this set the tone for much of our stay.

The WiFi was unreliable to the point of being unusable. It repeatedly dropped out whenever we attempted to open or send emails, making it impossible to rely on for even basic communication.

The dinner buffet was another major letdown. It was extraordinarily expensive—around 60,000 won per person—for food that was lukewarm, limited in variety and certainly not worth even a fraction of that price. Frankly, we would be far better off walking to a nearby McDonald’s, where the food is hot, plentiful and you don’t feel taken advantage of.

The room itself was very small and the bathroom setup was completely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard. The shower and toilet are combined in a single wet room, meaning that after one person showers, the entire space—including the toilet—is soaking wet. The sink is oddly placed outside the bathroom area, resembling a kitchenette more than a proper wash space. To make matters worse, the toilet door is flimsy and partially see-through, offering little to no privacy—an extremely uncomfortable arrangement when sharing a room.

Noise insulation is also severely lacking. We were woken at 2am by a conversation in the next room—it genuinely felt as though the occupants were standing beside us. Despite contacting reception to address the issue, nothing changed. By 3am, after over an hour of disrupted sleep, we requested a room change. This was handled promptly, and the night manager kindly offered a late check-out as compensation.

Pros:

全体的に新しくてきれいです。22階でしたが部屋からの眺めも美しいです。
屋上も開放されていて釜山が一望できます。屋上の一つ下の階にはカフェ、バーもあります。敷居は高くなく気軽に利用できます。

Cons:

率直に言えば、一部のスタッフがフレンドリーでないです。最低限の英語が通じないスタッフや、20年前の韓国を思わせるような上から目線での態度をとるスタッフがいました。
シャワーの水圧が低いです。トイレがつまりやすいので頻繁に流した方がいいです。

Tolles Hotel mit mega Ausblick!
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut / die Aussicht von den oberen Stockwerken phänomenal.
Die Betten waren extrem gut und viel Platz. Sehr sauber und ein echtes Spitzenhotel.

Cons:

Fitness und Co. waren nicht im Preis inbegriffen.

Отличное расположение, чистота, номер с видом на океан. Всё было комфортно. Для автомобиля предусмотрена бесплатная парковка (автомобильный лифт) внутри здания –работа парковщиков хорошо скоординирована, ожидание не более 5 минут.
Отель La Valse находится в непосредственной близости от Ёндок Почжангмача-гори «Улицы уличных палаток Ёндок» (Yeongdo Pojangmacha-gori / 영도 포장마차거리) - популярное место среди местных жителей и туристов для ужина или позднего перекуса, работающее после заката до поздней ночи.
