Will definitely look up element, anytime I have to travel somewhere

The happy hour mon-thurs was a fun experience

I will never go back, we will not consider Element as a viable destination.
Pros:

I did not have time to eat for breakfast in the morning - I had an early schedule

Cons:

Front desk clerk - attitude, helpfulness was miles below sub-par. I had a minor emergency that took a bit extra time to reconcile, and asked for a bit of extra time to check out - and was refused. So I had to rush back to the hotel, ignoring the emergency, to check out on time. It only takes one bad front desk clerk to totally ruin an experience. I cannot remember any other time in my many years of travel of having faced this stark intractability. My company promotes travel to Texas communities... ExploreTexas.com... and in considering hospitality venues to add to Pflugerville, Element failed.

It was peaceful, clean, and quiet, and staff were friendly and accommodating.

Pros:

We stayed here with our family and had 3 rooms. We all had to change rooms due to one room the AC didn’t work and the other 2 had cockroaches. Several of the machines in the fitness center were non operable. We did not receive our incidental deposit back and it was impossible to speak to a real person after calling 3 different phone. numbers. Very frustrating!!

Really good hotel. Room was clean, cozy and comfortable. Like a little apartment.
Were there with my dog.
It was one night and it was quiet and peaceful.
Bed was comfortable.
Really recommend it.

The hotel is mostly ok. There are issues though
Pros:

I stay here frequently because it is convenient for work. There is one particular person Yvette who treats me so rudely. I have done everything I can think of to a) try to figure out what I did to deserve her abuse and b) get it to stop. Today when I checked in, I asked for my favorite room. She lied to my face and said it wasn't available. I took another room that I know smells funny and the a/c broke 2 weeks ago. I waited half an hour for the shift change. Went back to the front desk and asked for my favorite room. It was truly available., and I am so frustrated. Have contacted corporate. Talked to the manager.

We had avgreat stay. Staff was helpful with had sone difficulty with reservation but was tby staff.
Pros:

My children loved the Greek yogurt bar, flavored waters and the breakfast the hotel served.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Perfect for a slightly long stay too since it had a kitchenette. Breakfast was excellent, always had something new. Got to eat kimchi fried rice twice! There’s a nice coffee machine by the front desk that makes cappuccinos and lattes! The rooms were in excellent condition. Will definitely be back in the future!
