Top notch customer service, comfy room and stay.
Pros:

The staff - excellent service. Front door, front desk, room service, you name it.
The food and service at Fairway. Try the quinoa chaat! Never thought I'd be complimenting the food at a fully vegetarian restaurant, but there it is :-)

Cons:

The buffet at Cafe Belvedere was sub-par, Wide enough spread, but nothing was good, even the fruit was poor quality.
The room was too cold for me, even with the aircon switched off.
Bottled water everywhere - no option to refill your own bottles.

It was a great 2 day stay
Pros:

It was an incredible stay. The property is quite lavish and feels premium. The staff, the room, the cleanliness, the food, the facilities exceeded expectations.

The best food in India
Pros:

Wow. This place blew our minds !

We visited three 5-star hotels in Ahmedabad in the course of our stay. We had chosen the Belvedere Club purely on the basis of its location, wanting to get closer to our place of work. So we hadn't researched the property much before booking.

The show started when we head out of our room towards the Belvedere Café for our buffet dinner. A calm and cozy restaurant. We were one of the only guests that night. We were served by Jyoti who made us feel extremely welcomed, as if we came to dine here every night. Very sweet with our daughter, very soft-spoken, smily and polite. In other hotels, it would take a few meals before the staff became that warm with us.

The food was another level. Possibly the best food I've had in India in 15 years. We were craving for it every morning and every night. Just what you expect from a fine-dining restaurant : small quantities, exquisite ingredients and amazing taste ! As a non-veg eater... it took me a couple days to realise the food served was purely vegetarian. That's exactly what vegetarian food should be : so good, that you forget all about meat !

On our 2nd night, one of the Belvedere Café managers told our daughter he would request the chef to make her taste a mushroom risotto since she came from Europe. One of those attention to details and a step above and beyond.

At the reception, the concierge Jay Prakash was helpful in helping us get around Shantigram in our first few days.

At we've kept the best for last : the view, the pools, the greenery, the lights, the birds, the palm trees. Being able to walk around the property and enjoy the view is heavenly.

Cons:

Do find a permanent solution to the puddle of water that gathers near the staircase between the rooms (100 series) and the Belvedere Café. We got our shoes wet a couple times trying to jump over it (that said, it was record-breaking rainfall during our stay).
