Stunning views from a wonderful hotel.
Pros:

Situated right on the lake, we had stunning views from our room and the breakfast room. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend Hotel Mona. We had a memorable stay.

Staff is amazing. Location is right on lake very close to train station and boat dock which we took to Lausanne twice cause it was so beautiful.

Nice hotel, spacious room with supreme views. Highly recommended. (caveat about breakfast)
Pros:

Room was very spacious with an amazing view of the lake. Check-in staff were helpful as were other reception staff. Free coffee, water and juice in the lobby was good value. Complementary mini-bar in the room. Staff made a late check-out available upon our request and then offered bottled water for our journey when we did check out. Location right on the promenade was excellent and only a few minutes walk to the ferry jetty.

Cons:

The entrance to the lobby had stairs (and very narrow) ramp which made getting suitcases in difficult. But the thing that most disappointed was the breakfast. We were running late so decided on the hotel breakfast. There were two options, continental and full buffet. We mistakenly assumed (based on every other hotel we’ve stayed in the world) that the continental gave us access to the buffet excluding the cooked components. But no, we were told very sternly that we could not help ourselves, and that everything, including the coffee and juice, would be brought to us. Not only did this take a long time to arrive, for the price, I expected more than bread and croissants, and a single coffee and juice. Also, the bread was on the stale side. It was strange because every other aspect of the hotel service was generous (complimentary drinks, etc) so not sure why they were so mean with breakfast.

Room and hotel facility
including spa is first class.

First of all, I was so impressed by service Detailes such as free minibar in room, coffee & popcorn machine in the lobby, free of charge unlimited spa.

Well trained hotel steps were so kind and did their
best to meet our needs.

When we checked out
the lady ( I should ask her
name ^^) offered water bottles for our traveling.
This seems to be very tiny things, but well enough for guest to feel special treatment and strong feeling to come back.
