It was close to the station.
Good size room.
Window wouldn't stay open. It was very warm in the room so had to have the fan on.
No milk in the room for my tea in the morning.

There were obvious cricket ..supporters cutting through the lawn on there way to the station drink involved and quite upsetting when sat outside having a quiet drink

Breakfast started later than the time I had to leave. Would be good to have breakfast available from 7:30am
Great location with parking, close to the town centre. The staff did their best to make us comfortable in the intense heat.
No air conditioning. I understand it’s a listed building, and therefore air conditioning cannot be installed, but there was only a small fan in our room and no fans or portable units in any of the public areas, which were hot and airless. There were not enough staff at breakfast, nor was there any visible presence from the management. This led to long waits for food.
Great location. Next to the train station and easy walk into town.
The big breakfast was big. Next day just had a sausage sandwich.

Parking was a bit chaotic if a conference is on. Car registration does not ask for a mobile number in case you get hemmed in.
Couldn't work out how to switch off the mirror light in the bathroom.

Hotel in poor condition needs upgrading Had a very upsetting check out accused of none payment for third night when we had clearly paid had just com out of hospital after major surgery and it was handled very badly
