The attention of the staff was great. Would do anything to help and make your stay experience as nice as possible.
Fantastic stay yet again, great room, facilities, food & staff, it’s always our first choice when staying in Northumberland, wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.
Having to leave 🙁
My goodness this was such a friendly and comfortable, charming place to stay! The owners could not have gone more out of their way to be welcoming and the bed was super comfortable. The village is charming and equidistant between walking in the Cheviot hills and visiting all the beautiful beaches and castles on the coast and at Alnwick. The food was good too and the breakfast was sublime! We were able to bring our dogs with us for no extra charge and they were welcomed as well.
Absolutely no complaints - it was great!
Good location, comfortable, great food. Excellent value for money.
The small hotel was a little isolated , but still easy to find. An extremely helpful host provided an very good cold buffet even though the kitchen was closed when we arrived. An excellent breakfast was served, again by very friendly staff
Everything, it was a lovely experience. The really efficient fan in the room was a big bonus. I can’t think of one thing negative to say. Will stay again when back in Northumberland. Thank you for everything.
Nothing
Very comfortable room in a lovely village and local pub that is friendly and combines with an excellent restaurant . Location is perfect for visiting all areas of coast countryside and national park.
An extra toilet roll in the room each day would be welcome.
Breakfast was superb. Dinner was also very good, substantial portions well cooked and presented, the menu was not as extensive as I remember from 5 years ago, but Sunday lunch was the best I have had. Location quiet but easy to travel to places of interest, staff very helpful.
Nothing I can think of
The rooms were comfortable clean and the staff were very friendly, food was good would go back again.
Nothing to dislike
