Seoyoung was great I was out of here on vacation and wasn't sure about what to do where to go as far as the hotel was concerned. She made it easy! And I wanted to stay another night and she said no problem! Unfortunately because of the snow I had to leave a day earlier driving back to Cincinnati!
Great experience over all. Building is old but well maintained. Biggest plus is the location and vicinity with top attractions near riverwalk . What stood out the most was the service , the people working there are the biggest reason you would select this hotel over any other hotels in downtown . Special shout out to “Willis”,along with his team. That man deserves a raise for his dedication and hard work . The service provided by them is what stood out for me and will be the reason I book this hotel again .

Didn't have any breakfast but the location of the hotel is in a great spot.
I didn't like that the hotel charged me an extra $80 for valet parking when I actually self parked for $50. Upon looking at my account I realized what happened and called to get the situation rectified.

Had to go 8 floors down to use microwave
The shower head was slow in letting the water flow.
Room service came in bags not on a cart and in silver trays.
We went on the first night and Ruben was amazing! Went back the second night and roffe did amazing too! Both gave great customer service! It was our honeymoon so it was definitely special that we got amazing service.

1 day our room wasn't clean we had 2 take a nap on a dirty bed and sheets and pillows
I had my boots shined by Rogelio and will visit him every time I’m here! He is very kind and did an incredible job
If you’re ever at the Marriott Riverside Hotel, you’ve got to stop and see Rogelio, their in-house Shoe Shine Technician! Every time I am there I make an effort to have him renew my cowboy boots and make them shine like the sun. He is a true professional, and a pleasure to speak with and he will leave you walking away with the best looking shoes or boots in San Antonio.

Any hotel that requires you to be a member of their awful spam service or pay money to access the internet is not worth going to. I was already wary of staying at a marriott after my last experience but this terrible data-stealing, penny-pinching, greedy behavior trying to extract every last penny by monetizing a service that is already built into the room price is despicable.
Great stay at a perfect spot right on the Riverwalk. Clean and quiet. Rogelio at the show shine station was super friendly.
