The location is great!
The communication is horrible. Since now more than two weeks I’m am trying to get something as simple as an invoice for my stay. However they keep directing me to booking.com which directs me back to the hotel. The hotel now confirmed they will issue an invoice, however still failed to do so after another week. Highly recommend to avoid this place if you travel for anything but leisure.
AS IHG members we typically seek an Intercontinental when we travel. This property was a winner. It has a gracefulness, probably because of the culture of the team and people of Korea, and its location. It is attached to the COEX mall and iconic library. It seemed to be smack in the middle of a major hub of the Seoul and more development happening across from us during our stay. It was convenient to have the mall and food court adjacent to us along with metro access. The hotel itself is inside and major business building so the check in was a bit cold and away from the main lobby so you didn't get that wow factor right away. As you walk towards the elevator the stunning lobby appears and that wow factor happened, really beautiful. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and high tech and we enjoyed the separate sitting area. One of the reasons we cam to Korea was to observe the facial esthetics community so a nice touch was a facial mask placed bed side every evening during our stay. We also add the lounge access to our rooms and it is always well worth it. The lounge was pleasant and the team were very helpful. What was really special was the complimentary fitness center and spa privileges. It was a private sports club so it was huge and elegant with world class facilities and pool, cafe services and even a golf simulator. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi with cold plunge and sea salt scrub. Again, I highly recommend the club access for these benefits. As far as dining we typically do breakfast to fuel up and enjoy the city for other dining. The breakfast facility was also elegant, plentiful and delicious. Just about every option is available to hotel guests, included with club access. The club lounge also has a mini version for breakfast if you don't like the bigger crowd. The club lounge also offers tea time and happy hour with canopies. We had a wonderful stay and this property is highly recommended.

The most disappointing experience I have had across all of my InterContinental stays globally.
Most notably, my party was turned away from your dining venues — not once, but on multiple occasions — and in a manner that felt dismissive and unwelcoming. I feel compelled to share that during the same trip, I stayed at the Four Seasons Seoul, where the level of warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality was exceptional!

Transportation is easy. From Incheon airport, I’ve taken airport bus 6703 and get off at Seongsong station right in front of the hotel. The hotel is connected to Coex and Hyundai Dept store. Subway exit 5 or 6 to the hotel which also easy to go to Seongsu shopping area. The hotel is clean, bed comfortable and housekeeping does a good job. The only concern is hotel breakfast at Grand Kitchen staff service is so-so, breakfast has good collection but this place sooo busy. I had same experience at Mercato 25 Italian restaurant. Both restaurants have some staffs are rude and blunt and lack of attention. The area is in construction which makes the local traffic chaotic.

Stayed at Intercontinental Grand Seoul Parnas for two nights while visiting Seoul with my family.
We booked 1 Bedroom suite with extra bed and lounge access. The room was beautififul with good size bathroom, walking closet and livingroom big enough to fit the extra bed.
Room had all the modern features you could think: coffee and tea making, aircon air purifier, Japanese style toilet and very handy LG Styler Steam closet (haven't seen such thing before).
The lounge offered breakfast, afteroon tea and Cocktail hour (that actually was very good dinner both in quantity and especially qualityvise). The price you pay for lounge access is not cheap but it is worth it.
Hotel is situated at Gangnam on top of big shopping center and you can use the elevators just to go shopping and leave uour jackets to the room (was very handy when it was coldest time in Seoul this year - 20 C). Especially Starfield Library was very interesting to see.
Extra points also for the turndown service, gym and spa with saunas. Saunas felt though little cold for an Finn and I felt really strange using the swimming cap that you had to wear at the pool...
The Limobus service from the airport stops at the hotel and is very convenient but it might take a long time if trafic is bad (for us it was 2,5 hours both ways instead of around one hour that is stated somewhere?)
All in alla very good stay!
The room is clean and neat. Basic amenities are provided ( minus the tooth brush set).
Breakfast spread is good. Many varieties.
Location is excellent. Link to COEX and metro, buses can be easily reached. One of the Airport Limousine Bus terminals so commuting to and fro from Incheon Airport is very convenient.
Staff are friendly.
On the whole, a good hotel.
Excellent hotel. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. All the room amenities were absolutely excellent. Breakfast buffet had a lot of selections between continental and Korean/asian dishes. Location was ideal for conference. Lots of local shopping (it sits on top off and adjacent to a mall) as well and places to eat. Had a work dinner at Weu Lou the in house restaurant... excellent Chinese food/presentation 5/5.

This is our go to hotel for our annual girls beauty shopping trip to Seoul from Hawaii. They never disappoint. Beautiful affordable luxury with superior service! Super convenient location and amenities.
It’s connected to underground shopping and two huge malls so it doesn’t matter if it’s freezing or 100% humidity outside.
This year was extra special though. Upon checking in the front desk noticed that I would be staying during my birthday and presented me with champagne and a teddy bear!!! Such a wonderful surprise. A few days later a beautiful birthday cake and card was presented in the room! This was beyond anything I had experienced before especially since I felt we were already getting amazing deal on the nightly cost.
We wake up to the most amazing breakfast buffet, access the weather and decide to venture out or explore underground. We always make reservations at the Chinese restaurant at least one day in advance to ensure we get the Peking Duck. We know the many concierge because they’re always so helpful with translation and logistics.
We’ve stayed in much more expensive places but always come back here because of the value and comfort and how it makes us feel. Highly recommend if you’re in the area or in the fence at all.
