An exceptional stay with outstanding service, excellent dining, and a perfect location
Pros:

The hotel was great! The location is outstanding, right next to Samseong Metro Station, which provides convenient access to the city center. The hotel lobby is connected to a large food court and the Hyundai Department Store, offering plenty of dining and shopping options.

We stayed for about two weeks, and the room was thoroughly cleaned every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived during my birthday, and we were kindly presented with a delicious cake. There were daily refreshes of face masks as well. Our suite was equipped with a styler steam closet, which we found very convenient for refreshing our clothes during our stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast, which consisted of a huge variety of local Korean and continental options. We mostly chose the local dishes, and they were excellent. The coffee was very good too, especially if you managed to get your order prepared by the barista rather than using the coffee machine. Note: the barista can be quite busy during peak breakfast hours. If you’re struggling with jet lag, we recommend going earlier when there are fewer people so you can enjoy a delicious coffee.

Our booking included access to the Club Lounge, a restaurant-like area on the 34th floor with a nice view of the surroundings. The Club Lounge offers an additional breakfast option with a smaller selection than the main restaurant, but you can treat it as a second breakfast if you like 🙂. It also offers Afternoon Tea (tea with sweets) and a Cocktail Hour in the evening, which is essentially dinner with drinks.

Overall, this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We had zero issues throughout our stay.

Cons:

extra W60,000 for using the sauna.

Unless you need to go to the Convention Centre for some event/conference, the district where the hotel is located is more inclined to business rather than tourism. If I were to stay at Gangnam again, I would choose somewhere else or the Jamsil area.

Good quality stay in Gangnam
Pros:

Early check-in was grabted for me which saved my life after 16 hours travel from the US. The corner suite is big and comfortable.

- 지하2층 주차장에 담배 냄새가 가득. 피우고 있는사람은 안보이는데
어디서 들어오는건지 심각하게 많이 나서 숨을 못쉴 정도여서 아이와 함께 차 찾는 중 너무 괴로웠음.
바깥 흡연장이 있다면, 안으로 다 들어오는건지 공조, 시설쪽에 점검 필요한듯.
- 베개를 낮은것과 높은것 두가지로 비치해 두시는게 사용자가 편리할듯 합니다.
- 덮는 이불 사각사각 소리가 많이나서 신경거슬려요.
- 수건은 흡수가 안되였어요.
