The front desk was not usually manned, so had to ring a bell for serivice. The front desk was dimly lit and not welcoming. The room was fine and comfortable; however, the shower was awful with little water for descent shower or washing hair. Skimpy breakfast bar, only waffles, cold cereal and some pastries. We ate out. Luckily we had a first floor room. No elevator or automatic front doors to facilitate moving luggage. We had no housekeeping service for our two night stay. At the price we paid we should have gotten more. This could be an excellent hotel if the deficiencies I noted were corrected. They have no competition now but a competitor would give them a run for the money.

Efficient checkin...friendly staff

Mid-August, flew into Madison airport and drove 15 minutes to hotel. Older hotel that’s been remodeled a few years ago. Late check-in was no problem. Quiet room with comfy king bed on 2nd floor. Note - there is no elevator so you haul your bags upstairs. The desk person offered to help. Room was clean. Air conditioner worked well. Breakfast needs improvement - it’s a basic continental breakfast with waffle machine. I’d stay again for the travel convenience, price and comfort.

Very clean quiet facility. Beds were comfortable, nice pool. We didn’t eat breakfast so not sure of the options. We would definitely stay again

A $30 early check-in fee for an hour & 1/2 earlier was ridiculous. I was attending a wedding & which started at 2:30 and the shuttle from the hotel was set to leave by 1:30 to make it to the venue for the ceremony. Also, the bathroom floor was sticky in my room.

The staff was professional and courteous; we had no issues with check-in or check-out. The room was clean. The property was clean. Breakfast offerings were sufficient. The pool was a good size and the pool area was clean. The fitness center was a small room with a few cardio machines and a bench. The location was great for accessing Madison and the university. Culver’s is located conveniently right next store. Our stay was satisfactory.

Great location, quiet and close to downtown. Very easy to get to the dells and Madison. A lot of good restaurants close by. Very friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast options were limited but all fresh and delicious. Quality over quantity was appreciated. The pool looked very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

I thought over all it was nice and clean weird the room did t have a microwave for the popcorn I purchased and no vending machines

Easy access hotel with spacious rooms and extremely reasonable price.

The hotel advertises a heated pool. No it is not. I checked in with my luggage and was told that my room was # 202. I asked ok, where is the elevator. No elevator. They expected me to drag my luggage up 2 flights of stairs. I was given a handicap room. Luckly I was not in a wheelchair. No handicap access to shower. No ice machines in building, but yet an ice bucket in room and vending machines were broken too.Stay away!

I booked my room online and upon my arrival it was a very easy check in. The continental breakfast had a nice selection of yogurt, cereal, bagels and waffles. Juice and coffee were also available.

After i showered i noticed there was writing on the mirror. Like someone wrote on it with their finger when it was steamed up. So clearly it was not cleaned from the last stay! The bathroom door was so hard to close and open. It could definitely use some fixing up and I've never been to a Hotel that didn't have an elevator. But it smelled clean and overall the rest was clean.

Overall the hotel is good for the price. There was no elevator on property and our room was on the second floor. The breakfast was rather disappointing; options provided were cereal, bagels/donuts, waffles and yogurt. The juice dispensing machine was off (or broken...not sure) so there were bottles of juice that we could pour from. Breakfast really did lack an overall protein and so we were hungry within just a mere couple of hours.

Staff was friendly, but the rest of our stay was not great.
One member of our party got locked in the bathroom and the straw had to come assist, they did not fix the handle, so we had to leave the bathroom door slightly ajar for the remainder of the stay. The shower/tub did not drain.
The laminate flooring was very cold to walk on
The walls had been painted at some point but there was overspray on light fixtures
Lampshades had stains and tears
Sink drain and counter was stained, toilet bowl had stains as well.
Would choose a different place if in the area again.

Hardy any of the outlets worked in the room. No rugs - which in winter and snow doesn’t work. Floor was wet for awhile. Shower was pleasantly nice. Ok - not sure we would stay here again.
