Pros:

The room we stayed in was lovely and well furnished and cleaned to a very high standard. The breakfast was delicious and varied with tea, coffee, continental and hot food options and lots of fruit and pastries. It was very close to both the s-bahn and u-bahn so getting around Berlin was very convenient. As we were leaving for the airport there was a delay on the line, so the concierge at the desk very kindly and swiftly arranged a taxi for our party to get to the station. I was really grateful for his calm and friendly approach! Would definitely recommend.

Cons:

My only complaint was I found the building to be rather on the hot side and the air con in our room didn't seem very effective. The bedding was also quite warm for my taste. Fortunately we were staying in October so it was cool outside, and was very easy to open the room window to let fresh air in.

Comfortable and great location to explore Berlin
Pros:

We had a nice comfort room with a view of the Spree. Good bathroom with a nice shower. As the room was on the 1st floor there was a little bit of noise from people on the promenade when leaving the window open, nothing too bad. The location is excellent to explore Berlin, with good public transport and not too far from some of the attractions for the eager walker. In addition to the Carl and Sophie restaurant there also some good restaurant options at walking distance.

Cons:

Breakfast is somehow disappointing, in special the quality of the bread rolls for the German standards and the eggs from the cooked breakfast.
