Easy place to stay as a family
Unmanned hoyek is always a little stressful
Convenient location. Very close to the city center. Maybe a 20-min walk if you're feeling energetic, but also like 3 bus stops away if not.
Lots of convenience stores and restaurants around the area. Most of all, really quiet, even though we were staying on the 1st floor, there wasn't any noise from the street.
One thing we didn't like was how there wasn't a light on the path outside. We arrived around 10pm and it was hard to locate the building from the street. It's just a good thing that our Uber Driver assisted us.
Please put a light on the walkway.
Location
There is absolutely no lighting at the entrance outside, so coming back at night and trying to enter the door code is nearly impossible because you simply cannot see the keypad. It is unbelievably inconvenient. To make things worse, the room door’s digital lock has to “warm up” before it responds, meaning you are forced to stand there waiting several seconds every single time just to get inside.
The worst part of this place is the bathroom. The toilet seat is broken, the hot and cold water have to be adjusted manually with separate controls, and the space is so ridiculously cramped that anyone would end up hitting their hands and feet. Out of my entire trip in Japan, this was by far the worst bathroom I have had to use.
The air conditioner compressor makes a constant loud noise throughout the night, making it almost impossible to sleep. No one can properly rest with that kind of disturbance. On top of that, the property does not even provide basic things like bottled water, coffee, or any drinks.
For the price being charged, this place is honestly unacceptable and absolutely not worth the money.
